Singer Rihanna was seen arriving Wonderland nightclub in Los Angeles last evening. I still don’t get that hairstyle.
Speaking of Rihanna, her “inspiration” FeFe Dobson performed in Washington D.C. last evening for the OMEGA 100-Day Countdown to the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. Ain’t nothing like the original!

Diva Toni Braxton and Trey Songz a performance of their new song, ‘Yesterday’. I hope Trey had 911 on speed dial just in case Toni’s husband came up on stage lol!
Actress Taraji P. Henson, who hosted the show with actor Terrence Howard, did an amazing Diana Ross impersonation.
Songstress Chrisette Michelle is working that hair style for all its worth.

Watching this now…review up shortly….
Peep Mariah Carey on the set of her new video, the Brett Ratner directed ‘H.A.T.E U’, which was shot and wrapped yesterday in Malibu. In staying true to our stance of not downing celebs on how they look, I’ll just say ol’ Mimi has had better days. Much better days….
Peep Amerie’s sizzling new photoshoot which features in the latest issue of Complex Magazine. Work!
Amerie’s new LP ‘In Love & War’ is in stores and on iTunes now…
Mariah Carey sure is doing the media rounds this week, most recently stopping by renown interviewer Larry King’s CNN show a few hours ago. You can check out part 1 of the interview above and the rest after the jump. A pretty insightful interview (quite refreshing coming from Mimi), with everything from her emotional abuse, pregnancy rumours, the Michael Jackson memorial and more tackled. A great watch…
Peep rapper 50 Cent’s print promotional ad for his new fragrance ‘Power By 50’, which is set to be sold exclusively in Macy’s.
Ol’ Curtis joins a host of celebrities who have jumped on the lucrative fragrance bandwagon. Yet, with the amount of folks doing it now, one has to wonder if it’s as lucrative as it once was.
Guys and girls…
R&B royalty Mary J. Blige gave a rousing rendition of the US national anthem, ‘The Star Spangled Banner’, at the final of the World Series at the Yankee Stadium in New York last night. Though not the best live showing I’ve seen of the song, Mary held her own with the song, which many a diva has tried their hand at.
Tidbit: The New York Yankees won their 27th World Series title, defeating the Philadelphia Phillies to do so.
Remember Donnie Klang? Making The Band 4? Still don’t? I really can’t blame you. A victim of Diddy’s ‘no-promo-when-show-ain’t- on-air’, we’ve heard pretty much nothing from Donnie since his debut album ‘Just A Rolling Stone’ sold triple copper last year.
In any case, the 24 year old is back with new single ‘Prisoner of Love’, the video for which premiered today. Directed by The Littles, the video and the song aren’t that bad. While I remember scratching my head as to why Diddy signed him (he’s simply not good enough, plus that bootleg Justin Timberlake thing was never going to cut it), this is definitely much more in line with what Donnie should be singing IMO. As that contrived Electro-Pop he was trying to pass off as believable the last go round was not the business.
No word yet on a title or release date for his sophomore effort…(Sam checks to see if he’s still on Bad Boy>>>he is>>>sounds about right! SMH…)
The video for Gucci Mane’s 1st official single ‘Spotlight’, featuring Usher, premiered today. I’m really not understanding the hoo-harr around Gucci, if I’m to be entirely, hence my sole thought watching this was ‘Why is Usher in this?’. Still, not a bad video. Look out for cameos by Nicki Minaj and Eddie Murphy’s eldest daughter Bria Murphy, who plays the lead female.
Gucci’s debut album ‘The State vs. Radric Davis’ hits stores December 8th.
