Quiet Storm Queen Sade sent her fans into a royal frenzy with reports she is set to drop ‘Lion Heart’ – her first new song in six years – as part of the upcoming ‘Transa‘ compilation album.

Helmed by the AID/HIV relief charity organization Red Hot in support of trans and non-binary awareness, the 65-year-old icon is just one of many big-named music celebrities lending their voices to the 46-track worthy cause.

The latest to grab headlines for contributing is GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter Sam Smith, who teamed with legendary trans musician Beverly Glenn-Copeland to breathe new life into the fan favorite ‘Ever New’ for the forthcoming LP.

First found on the Glenn-Copeland’s 1986 effort ‘Keyboard Fantasies,’ he and Smith made the song’s 2024 update a reality thanks to production from Mark Yoshizumi and Dust Reid.

“Welcome the spring, the summer rain / Softly turned to sing again / Welcome the bud, the summer blooming flower / Welcome thе child whose hand I hold / Welcome to you both young and old / Wе are ever new, we are ever new,” croons Sam on the touching track.

Ahead of the November 22 arrival of ‘Transa,’ hear the new ‘Ever New’ inside.

The ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ returned for season 9 on Bravo last night (October 6).

However, one name that was not in the mix was Robyn Dixon

For eight years, she served as an original cast member of the hit series. However, the reality star was candid in revealing that she was “fired” following the wrapping of season 8 in April. At the time, she insisted she would rather be frank about the matter than spin it as a decision she made.

DDG took another dig at Joe Budden on a special Sunday night episode (October 6) of his ‘No Ordinary Podcast.’

As reported here, the rapper-social media star (born Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) slammed Budden the day prior once he learned rapper/reality star/podcaster donned him a “clout chaser” and asserted he’s using his highly publicized breakup with actress-singer Halle Bailey for publicity.

Once word landed on Granberry’s desk, he originally clapped back by calling the 44-year-old an “old b*tch” and ridiculing the commercial performance of his music – namely the 2003 hit ‘Pump It Up.’

On Sunday night, he gave his first official statement on Budden’s attack. Hear it inside.

The box office performance of ‘Joker: Folie a Deux‘ over the weekend was no joking matter – at least not to execs at Warner Bros. who were undoubtedly stunned to see how critically and commercially panned the set was.

Starring Academy Award winners Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga in its leading roles of iconic DC Comics characters The Joker and Harley Quinn, hopes were high for the Todd Phillips-directed film as its predecessor – 2019’s ‘Joker’ – not only swept the succeeding awards season but also laughed its way to over $1 billion in revenue.

At present, its follow-up – despite being the #1 film in America this week – doesn’t look poised to boast the same.
