The Mancunian, who sports a quirky quiff, has drawn most attention for his butter-smooth voice; a voice which boast a richness and rawness not seen this side of the Atlantic for some time.

Trey Songz was the prize for a lucky fan who got to meet him backstage at a Berlin concert.  The fan, on behalf of XperiaHotShots, put the singer in the ‘hot seat’ (so to speak), asking the ‘Say Aah’ singer about topics from his album to future plans.

However, when quizzed on collaborations, Songz revealed quite an interesting list of eyed features.  While fans have long known of Trigga’s desire to get Beyonce on a track, see who else he named after the jump:

As reported here, BET is set to honor late R&B songstress Aaliyah with a tribute special commemorating the 10th anniversary of her untimely passing.

BET reports the show, entitled Aaliyah:  One In a Million, will feature commentary from Missy Elliott, Timbaland, Patti Labelle, Kelly Rowland, and more.

Fans can tune into  BET on Thursday, August 25 at 8/7 central to catch the special.  Until then, BET is already underway with a 25 day celebration (starting August 1st) celebrating the accomplishments of the ‘More Than A Woman’ singer.

For a rapper whose introduction was built on the foundation of featuring, fans and critics alike once questioned if rapstress Nicki Minaj would be able to completely carry an album of her own material.  Now, with a slew of hit singles and platinum certification later, Minaj has undoubtedly proven her star quality.

But, with reports she is in the studio working on her sophomore release, the ‘Super Bass’ rapper has revealed information about the album’s direction – threatening to abandon the platform that (ultimately) put her on top.

As reported here, fans can expect rapper/singer/producer The Dream to release a free LP (‘Terius Nash Est. 1977’) at the end of this month to whet appetites for his forthcoming, fourth official release ‘The Love, IV: Diary of a Mad Black Man‘.  With the latter being readied for a late 2011 release, the ‘Rockin That Thang’ ‘singer’ has revealed details on the direction headed for both releases.
