Whitney Houston seemed to be in good spirits today when she was snapped heading into a Los Angeles medical center.

The images come a day after the icon’s rep revealed that she had checked herself into a rehabilitation facility for treatment of drug and alcohol dependancy.

On a positive note, Houston is set to star in the big budget sequel to ‘Waiting to Exhale’, ‘Getting to Happy’ – which begins filming later this year.

Kelly Rowland‘s ‘Motivation’ can count a high chart position, and now a new verse from Da Brat among its mounting blessings.

The rapper, who was recently released from prison, tackles the Rico Love smash in this So So Def Remix. Having previously collaborated with Rowland on ‘Ms. Kelly’ cut ‘Gotsta Go’, Brat touts the power of her ‘cockiness’ on this unofficial, yet oh-so listenable remix.

Rihanna debuted a brand new hair do during a performance in Germany last night. In true Fenty fashion, the starlet was able to distract German fans from her nasally grunts with a new Diana Ross inspired wig.

The ‘California King Bed‘ singer was performing at the Nivea Skin Journey aboard the Nivea Blue Boat and met up with fans.

Unlike the Titanic, though, the only tragedy this boat suffered was the sound of RiRi bleating her hamburger hits.

It was a smart-casual affair at Chris Lighty‘s upscale birthday bash this week. However, someone clearly didn’t pass the memo onto rapper Drake, who opted to rock a more ‘homely’ look.

The Young Money star, who has kept a low profile as of late, is said to be putting the finishing touches to his second studio album – which is pencilled-in for a late 2011 release.

Other attendees, who came out to celebrate with Lighty (Mariah Carey‘s manager) at Juilet, include BET VP Stephen Gill, Tank, and actor Shawn Wayans.

With much ado made about Cheryl Cole‘s X Factor USA role, the newly-appointed panelist was keen to strike a chord with the US press.

Check out her refined accent as she chats it up with Yahoo Music about judging on the Fox show, whether she is nervous about doing so, missing home, and more.

Her vocal coach may have failed miserably, but her media trainer sure didn’t. For, Ms. Cole actually came across particularly well here. Whether she’ll resonate with the Stateside audience come Fall will be interesting to see.

Renown for her barely-there ensembles, Aubrey O’Day turned heads for all the right reasons this past weekend. The ‘Automatic’ singer was snapped looking noticeably classier at the 137th Annual Kentucky Derby in Louisville.

The former Danity Kane minx is currently hard at work on her debut solo album, which is due later this year via SRC/Universal Motown.
