Migos‘ ‘Culture II’ is now available to purchase from all major retailers.

Good news for fans? No doubt.

However, unwilling to celebrate the set’s release are those who were appalled by lyrics unleashed by the group’s member Offset in which he used the word “queers.”

With this in mind there are some who fear the backlash the performer received may wreak havoc on their new set’s opening week number?

Do you think it will?

Jessie J is continuing to shine light on her empowerment anthem ‘Queen.’

Lifted from upcoming album ‘R.O.S.E,’ the self-affirming song resonated with many upon its release for its uplifting lyrics and J’s powerful vocal delivery.

The latter is a trait she showcases in earnest on a newly released acoustic version of the song.

Ahead of its arrival, the British belter said of the stripped back incarnation:

The imperfections make it REAL.
One song.
One feeling.
One take.

With SZA‘s musical star burning bright, the songstress has been tapped to shine in other arenas.

Case in point, her status as the new face of GAP.

Joined by the likes of Metro Boomin and British beauty Maya Jama, the ‘Love Galore’ singer stuns in the clothing brand’s new TV commercial spot.

Set to a remix of the Thompson Twins’ ‘Hold Me Now,’ the commercial sees the SZA-led clan celebrate the various logos the company has worn over its 50 year history. All of which form part of a fresh range.

Speaking on the venture, the Grammy nominee said:

“I definitely don’t know how I low-key got gifted the opportunity to be involved [with GAP], just because they’re super iconic and have only worked with iconic people.

It ended up being something really beautiful. It’s like anything is possible. “

It’s lift off for R&B icons EnVogue and their new single ‘Rocket.’

The track is the lead offering from the trio’s upcoming album ‘Electric Cafe’ – due March 30th.

Already off to a solid start, the song is the most added release at Urban A/C radio.

Speaking on the clip, which was directed by Damien Sandoval, the group collectively said:

“It was really exciting shooting the ‘Rocket’ video…perfect theme to enhance the song. The look is futuristic meets sexy…a step into the future. It’s such a pleasure working with a director that’s not afraid to come up with a concept that’s outside of the box and pays tribute to the music.”
