Basketball star Brittney Griner has broken her silence in the wake of her release from a Russian prison.

The Olympic medalist was arrested in February for possession of less than 1 gram of marijuana oil in Moscow and was immediately detained. After six months behind bars, she was officially convicted of drug smuggling in August and sentenced to 9-years in prison.

In a shock move on December 8, US President Joe Biden negotiated a prisoner swap between the US and Russia, effectively trading Griner (who would be free upon her return home) for arms dealer Viktor Bout.

Now, the WNBA performer is reflecting on her ordeal as well as the support she received.

Oxlade and Camila Cabello link up for the scintillating video for the remix to the AfroPop star’s global smash ‘Ku Lo Sa.’

Already a viral hit worldwide, the Nigerian wonder’s breakout bop was gifted new life courtesy of Cabello – who he trades verses with on the refreshed incarnation of the track.

In its newly unlocked visual (which is directed by Boma Iluma), the pair turn the heat up more – illuminating the song’s lyrics (‘Ku Lo Sa’ means “closer”) by whining and grinding their way towards one another.

It’s here! The first look trailer for the hotly anticipated ‘Barbie’ movie has been unboxed.

Margot Robbie takes on the titular role and stars opposite Ryan Gosling who plays Ken.

The dynamic pair are joined by a stellar cast that includes Issa Rae, Will Ferrell, Ncuti Gatwa, America Ferrera, and Kingsley Ben-Adir.

Directed by Greta Gerwig, the Warner Bros. Rom-Com serves as the first live-action incarnation of a narrative centered around the famed doll.

Janet Jackson sent fans into a frenzy of excitement this week when she announced her forthcoming ‘Together Again Tour.’

And while the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer was immediately a trending topic upon trumpeting the news, she is still strutting the promotional trail.

With 10 holiday-themed movies to her credit over the last few years, award-winning actress Holly Robinson Peete has easily established herself as one of the film genre’s queens.

The newest jewel in her crown comes courtesy of Hallmark’s ‘Holiday Heritage.’

Directed by Alfons Adetuyi, ‘Heritage’ – which also stars Lyndie Greenwood, Brooks Darnell, and more – tells the story of a family trying to heal their past wounds over the yuletide season by embracing different cultural holiday celebrations of Christmas and Kwanzaa

With a string of successful soundtrack songs to his credit (i.e. ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ hit ‘Earned It,’ ‘Black Panther’ smash ‘Pray For Me’), music superstar The Weeknd is hoping to continue the trend with ‘Nothing is Lost (You Give Me Strength)’ – his contribution to the long-awaited ‘Avatar‘ sequel ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ (in theaters December 16).

The heavily-teased cut, which is featured prominently in the movie’s teasers, was written by the GRAMMY winner and produced by Swedish House Mafia alongside famed composer Simon Franglen.

“I thought I could protect you from paying for my sins / You give me strength,” The Weeknd croons on the emotional track. “I’m with you either way / Nothing’s lost, no more pain / Just give me strength.”
