Rihanna was spotted at the Barbados airport yesterday. The vocal catastrophe was greeted by her mother who seem pleased to have her daughter back at home.

It has literally just been announced that Usher, Alicia Keys, Eminem, and T-Pain, will be taking to the stage at the 2010 BET Awards.

They join previously announced performers for the June 27th event Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz, Drake, Kanye West, Rick Ross, and Diddy-Dirty Money.

It certainly appears as though BET left the best performer announcements till last, as prior to now, the line-up was looking a little thin on interesting live acts.

Randomness: Does anyone else agree that the BET Awards being good generally depends on whether Beyonce is on the bill? Be it by coincidence or not, but I’ve noticed the show is usually the business when she takes to the stage (excluding last year’s atrocity of an MJ tribute show). Just saying…

Usher is set to continue his global domination with the release of ‘Lil Freak (Ft. Nicki Minaj)’ as the next official street single in the UK. The Polow Da Don-produced song has thus far peaked at #40 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and #8 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The That Grape Juice review of the track can be seen here. That Grape Juice caught up with R&B star Ciara this past week. With the recent announcement of the singer’s 4th studio album ‘Basic Instinct’, we were eager to quiz her on the record, as well as a host of other topics.

Our third interview with the 24 year old, this was hands-down the best! R&B singer Maxwell may have been flying high over the last year but now it seems that he has hit a speed bump in his career. It is being reported that the 2nd leg of his US tour (which was initially scheduled to begin on June 28th) alongside Melonie Fiona, Jill Scott and Erykah Badu has been postponed until 2011. The reason for the delay is said to be related to scheduling conflicts. All ticket holders for the affected dates will be refunded. {Source}
