‘Look what you made me do’ takes on a new meaning for Taylor Swift fans, affectionately called #Swifties, in the wake of ongoing calls for better regulation of event ticket handling at Ticketmaster – the world’s largest ticket sales and distribution company.

As reported, the fan group was bested by ‘unprecedented bots’ on the Ticketmaster site after Swift announced her latest stadium trek, ‘The Eras Tour,’ which caused system crashes, halted ticket sales, and jacked prices of resold tickets into the high thousands.

Despite multiple apologies from the company, it was not only scolded by Taylor but also became the subject of a federal government probe launched to investigate accusations of fraud, price fixing/gouging, and antitrust violations.

Some impatient Swifties aren’t willing to wait for the potential of retribution in a criminal court, however, as evidenced by a recently lifted civil case.

When hot on the promo trailer for her latest film, VH1’s ‘Hip Hop Family Christmas Wedding’ (the sequel to the 2021 hit holiday flick ‘Hip Hop Family Christmas’), Hilson – who spent the latter half of this year flexing her greatest hits live aboard the latest iteration of the ‘Millennium’ tour – was quizzed multiple times about the musical moves that would follow the jaunt’s end.

Waxing honest about her next musical steps, she not only dished on the creative process for the yet-titled project but also addressed the 2019 ‘false start’ that left some of her patient fans sour about her forthcoming LP.
