This week, we want to highlight cuts from Rebecca Black, Brockhampton, Foushee, and Josh Kinney.

Ahead of the long-awaited release of her serially delayed debut album, ‘Pretty B*tch Music,’ rapper-actress Saweetie is giving her dedicated fans (affectionately called #IcyGang) a musical appetizer in the form of the 6-song project titled ‘The Single Life.’

As first teased here, the effort not only comes as a way to tide fans over until the arrival of ‘PBM’ but also sees the GRAMMY nominee break her silence about a number of rumors that have plaqued her recently (including the suggestion that she cheated on ex-boyfriend Quavo with one of his friends).

The first single from ‘Single Life’ comes courtesy of the boisterous ‘Don’t Say Nothin.’

“Don’t you tell nobody we fu**in’ / Shut your mouth ni**a, don’t say nothin’,” she raps on the bass-buoyed song. “That’s what I get for kissin’ on these frogs / He got mad and told my business to the blogs.”

After Tamera Mowry-Housley scored top ratings and critical acclaim with three previous Hallmark holiday films (2019’s ‘Christmas Miracle,’ 2020’s ‘Christmas Comes Twice,’ and 2021’s ‘Santa Stakeout’), the EMMY winner is hoping for a royal redo of that success with her fourth yuletide venture with the network: ‘Inventing the Christmas Prince.’

Also starring Mark Brandon and Mercedes Blanche, ‘Prince’ sees Mowry-Housley portray a rocket engineer who’s about to call it quits at her job until her daughter (Blanche) intervenes with a fantasy that convinces her that her mom’s ‘Scrooge-like boss’ (Brandon) is the real-life incarnation of the ‘Christmas prince’ – a character the young girl made up.

Does the madness that ensue turn Tamera’s boss to her boo?  There’s only one way to find out.

Ahead of its November 18 premiere, look inside to see the trailer to the Paul Ziller-directed flick.

Having risen to fame as part of top-selling girl group Destiny’s Child alongside Beyonce, singer-songwriter Kelly Rowland has fielded years of questions about or inevitable comparisons to the megastar.

Generally, her response to inquiries about the ‘Renaissance‘ diva are pleasant given the two’s nearly lifelong friendship and public displays of mutual admiration and respect.

That changed recently, however, when Rowland had to put an interviewer in check for saying she plays “second fiddle” to Beyonce – a notion that many (including Kelly) felt undermines the groundbreaking achievements she’s made in her own career.
