Thanks to the new song ‘Flowers,’ the next official era of Miley Cyrus‘ career is in full bloom.
The kickoff single from her recently-announced album ‘Endless Summer Vacation’ (due on digital shelves March 10), ‘Flowers’ comes as the first taste of official new music the diva’s fans have gotten since she wrapped up 2020’s ‘Plastic Hearts’ era.
In its accompanying video, which arrived Thursday (January 12), Cyrus croons about self-love and courage as she makes her way down the streets of Los Angeles dancing and shedding her inhibitions (and clothing).
“I can buy myself flowers / Write my name in the sand / Talk to myself for hours / Say things you don’t understand / I can take myself dancing / And I can hold my own hand / Yeah, I can love me better than you can,” she wails on the cut produced by Kid Harpoon, Tyler Johnson, & Mike Will Made It.
