Those who wrote Meghan Trainor off due to the commercial nonperformance of her third era, 2020’s ‘Treat Myself,’ got a rude awakening in 2022 after her single, ‘Made You Look,’ exploded on TikTok.

In fact, the Federico Vindver-produced cut gained so much traction it not only catapulted to becoming one of the year’s biggest hits but it also helped its parent album, the October-released ‘Takin It Back, to a #16 peak on the Billboard 200 – her highest rung there since 2016’s ‘Thank You’ soared to #3.

Mirroring that win on the Hot 100, Meghan’s comeback hit was ushered to #12 on the refreshed edition of the tally thanks to the vanished annual holiday song domination.  The landing not only comes as the tune’s new peak, but also serves as the highest Hot 100 placement Trainor’s captured overall since 2016’s ‘No’ peaked at #3.

Look inside to see who joins ‘Look’ on this week’s TGJ chart recap, ‘Chart Check.’
