Following stunning showings from the likes of and Tems, Tierra Whack, Queen of Funk Chaka Khan, Gospel princess Kierra Sheard is the latest to reign over NPR’s Tiny Desk in honor of their 2024 Black Music Month live series.

Unveiled on Friday (June 14), Sheard’s set saw her armed with a band of talented instrumentalists that included her brother and longtime producer J. Drew Sheard on drums supporting some jaw-dropping background vocalists.

Reaching deep into her vault of hits, the multi-Stellar Award winner cranked out live renditions of fan favorites like ‘It Keeps Happening,’ ‘Indescribable,’ ‘You Don’t Know,’ ‘Hang On,’ and album deep cuts.
