Yes, following the 2010 release of ‘The ArchAndroid (Suites II and III)’, the ‘Peachtree Blues’ singer is now gearing up to launch its follow up, named….’The Electric Lady‘.
Before that, she plans to unveil its lead single. A single, featuring none other than ‘You Got Me‘ vocalist Erykah Badu.
It was 2012‘s all-star ensemble that brought viewers in droves to the theater. Indeed, Kevin Hart, Meagan Good, Taraji P. Henson, Gabrielle Union, Michael Ealy, and so many more filled out the cast with the task of bringing comedian Steve Harvey‘s best-selling book ‘Think Like A Man’ to life via film adaptation.
Raking in nearly $100 million at the box office (and exceeded most expectations), undoubtedly a redo was immediately requested. Now, fans dying to get news on the film’s follow-up can rejoice as its premiere date has been set. As reported by Essence:
No word yet on if all of the original cast will be on board for the film’s “part 2”.
The Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles played host to the Steve Harvey-hosted 2013 Celebration of Gospel.
Doing it bigger than ever, the faith-based affair aired moments ago and unveiled its best line-up yet, featuring performances from Tamar Braxton, Anita Baker, Tyrese, and all the major gospel heavy hitters (Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Smokie Norful, Tye Tribbett, Clark Sisters, and more).

Unlike its ‘Rewind’ and ‘Vault’ predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase albums (and eras) from a library of pop music hits. Today, we turn up the volume on Kierra Sheard‘s 2004 debut album ‘I Owe You’…
With the release of Fantasia‘s new album ‘Side Effects Of You’ drawing nearer, the American Idol alum has given fans a preview of the hotly anticipated set.

While some fans of songbird India Arie rejoiced at news of the Grammy winner’s forthcoming album ‘Songversation’ (June 25) – led by the single ‘Cocoa Butter’ – others weren’t exactly gleaming at first glance of the single’s cover art.
Arie, whose career has wielded a number of self-love hits like ‘Private Party’, ‘Video’, and ‘I Am Not My Hair’, immediately came under fire with accusations of skin bleaching.
Now, it seems the ‘Ready for Love’ singer is ready to nip the rumors in the bud. Taking to Twitter over the weekend, see what Miss Arie had to say:
She’s the Grammy winning R&B pioneer with a career spanning over twenty years.
Indeed, while it’s a fact most overlook, Brandy‘s arrival via the hit show Moesha saw her carve a clean lane for Urban songstresses hoping to enjoy mainstream notoriety. Songstresses, that debuted as early as 1997 and as later as 2005 (Destiny’s Child & Rihanna respectively).
Now watch as she shares on her thoughts on ‘Bow Down‘- the scorching new song released by fellow triple threat Beyonce below!
The Twitterverse was set alight this morning with news that ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ starlet Porsha Stewart and husband Kordell Stewart are soon to be splitsville.
Indeed, Kordell – who hasn’t won much love from fans since his inclusion on the show due to opinions that he is “too controlling” – was actually the one who filed the petition for divorce.
“Petitioner, after marrying respondent, a cast member on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” on May 21, 2011, is seeking divorce as the marriage is irretrievably broken.“
Reports also indicate the former NFL player says the show has damaged his reputation.
And…the gloves are off.
Just moments ago comedian Mike Epps set Twitter alight with jabs at fellow comedian Kevin Hart for a recent episode of his hit BET series ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’. The particular episode had a number of gay-themed incidents in it (including a scene where basketballer Shaquille O’Neal performed “rape motions on Hart”(see photo below):
To which Epps had this to say:
To which Kevin Hart replied:
Mike Epps continued, stating:
Fans may remember this isn’t the first time Mike Epps avoided using spellcheck and Hart had a spat on the social network. Back in January the dueling standups battled it out on Twitter after Epps took offense to a comment wielded by Hart.
Epps said, “@KevinHart4Real looks like a bald headed chipmunk that slid down a dusty chimney!”
Can’t we all just get along?
