It’s that time of year again!

November 20 brings with it the 2022 American Music Awards live on ABC.

As ever, all eyes are on the nominees for the latest installment of the annual extravaganza, which will boldly air as planned from LA’s Microsoft Theater.

And folk need not wonder anymore, because the full list has just been unveiled.

The unstoppable Bad Bunny leads with eight noms, while Beyonce, Drake, and Taylor Swift follow with six each.

Elsewhere Adele, Harry Styles, and The Weeknd nabbed five nominations. Also in the mix are Doja Cat, SZA, WizKid, Anitta, Tems, and more.

From “Havana ooh na na” to “Havana ooh la la,” Camila Cabello‘s breakout #1 hit, ‘Havana,’ got a supercharged, superstar revamp recently thanks to her fellow judges on NBC’s ‘The Voice.’

Showing the reality singing competition’s hopefuls how it’s done, Cabello called on John Legend, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani to add their distinctive styles to the Diamond-certified Latin smash.

“They’re such incredible artists I feel almost embarrassed that they sang my song,” Cabello said in a recent behind the scenes clip showing the quartet’s rehearsal of the tune. “But it was really cool.”

Later referring to the once-in-a-lifetime cover as a “huge honor,” look inside to see all the Cabello-led action that led to the live performance.

At writing, there are only 87 songs in the history of recorded music to boast a Diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

A measure that denotes the sales equivalence of 10 million units in the United States, the once-nearly unreachable status saw an explosion in the number of achievers once the organization began including streaming figures in its tabulation.  Nevertheless, the vied plaque still eludes even some of music’s biggest names as evidenced by the list of hits that currently line the RIAA’s ‘best-selling singles ever’ tally.

And while only a few are lucky enough to nab one Diamond certification over their entire careers, an impressive group can boast having lifted two songs from the same album to reach the sales threshold.

In the wake of Cardi B recently becoming the first female act in history to have two singles from one album certified 11x Platinum or higher (as we reported here), That Grape Juice thought it apt to toast the entire exclusive club of hitmakers she joins by accomplishing the feat.

Concerns for singer Brandy were plentiful today when news hit that the GRAMMY winner had been rushed to hospital.

As reported, the songbird is said to have suffered a seizure on October 11 and the lack of additional details worried fans, friends, and peers alike.

Alleviating fears, Brandy has issued a statement addressing what happened and the cause.

As of October 10, only three female Rap songs in history owned a Diamond certification at the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of 10 million in the United States – Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Super Bass’ as well as Cardi B‘s Hot 100 #1 hits ‘I Like It’ and ‘Bodak Yellow.’

The latter performer, already penciled in the organization’s record books for being the first female rapper attached to three Diamond-certified singles overall, made history again when she saw the status of ‘Like’ and ‘Yellow’ updated Tuesday (October 11) – just in time for her 30th birthday.
