In the wake of the shooting death of his friend and ‘Too Many Years’ collaborator PNB Rock, rapper Kodak Black has been atop many related headlines – from posting a “chicken and waffles” tribute many found insensitive to slamming the late emcee’s girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang, for what he believed was her role in the 30-year-old’s untimely passing.

Joining a chorus of many at the time who thought her geo-tagged Instagram post is what alerted Rock’s would-be killers to locate him, Black took to social media to suggest the young woman “kill herself” as a result.

After police reports later revealed the men suspected of the crime were already at the Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles restaurant when PNB (born Rakim Hasheem Allen) arrived, Kodak took accountability for his harsh words and issued an apology.
