If winning their inaugural GRAMMYs together and making Billboard history with their duet, ‘Kiss Me More,’ is proof, Doja Cat and SZA are formidable forces apart and even more so collaboratively.

Hopes to underscore that point came Friday (April 14) courtesy of a reunion via the surprise remix to the latter’s blockbuster hit, ‘Kill Bill.’

The tune’s original incarnation, found aboard SZA’s top-selling sophomore album ‘SOS,’ was recently certified triple Platinum for sales of 3 million in the United States and has been a mainstay in the Hot 100’s top 5 since its January 13 release.

Could the Doja-assisted revamp be just what’s needed to finally get it to #1 on the hitlist? Hop inside to hear it and tell us.

As we reported here, R&B crooner Miguel‘s 2011 smash, ‘Sure Thing,’ is enjoying an unexpected resurgence on the current Billboard Hot 100 thanks to a viral response on social media.

The second single from his 2010 debut album, ‘All I Want Is You,’ ‘Sure’ is widely regarded as the GRAMMY winner’s breakout hit as its original #36 peak made it his first top 40 placement on the hitlist.

Fast forward to 2022, the Happy Perez-produced track exploded on Tik Tok thanks to users incorporating clips of the track on their videos – awakening exposure to a new generation of R&B lovers (and leading to impressive sales and streaming gains in the process).

Look inside to see the new height the song’s reached as a result of its newfound attention.

Latto is once more proving her versatility.

For, she has just dropped a new freestyle to SZA‘s ‘Smoking on My Ex Pack.’

Smokin’ on my ex / S****in’ on his b***h / Thinkin’ ’bout my sex / All this water on my wrist. Got ’em thinkin’ I switched / Nah, ‘Big Energy’ just hit / If you think a n***a ain’t claimin’ this, you smokin’ d**k,” she raps on the song.

SZA‘s bid to secure her first #1 hit on the Hot 100 may have been blocked by Taylor Swift last week and Miley Cyrus this week, but the R&B diva still has her sights set on seeing her name carved in the position with the ‘SOS‘ hit ‘Kill Bill.’

To aid its battle for the top spot the songstress (born Solana Rowe) has lifted the lid on yet another version of the tune, this time offering fans a stripped back rendition.

“I might kill my ex, not the best idea / His new girlfriend’s next, how’d I get here? / I might kill my ex, I still love him, though / Rather be in jail than alone,” she sings over the acoustic guitar.

And while ‘Bill’ has already helped hoist its parent album to a historic sixth week atop the Billboard 200, is the acoustic rendition just what the doctor ordered to finally get itself to the Hot 100’s summit?
