In today’s climate, more and more names are falling foul of public favor – often for wrongs uncovered from times of past.

It’s resulted in a heated and ever-raging debate about the fairness of penalizing people retroactively.

J. Cole has expressed his two cents in on the matter in a new interview with XXL.

Gospel music enthusiasts were sent into a frenzy four months ago (as we reported here) when it was formally announced Urban music royals Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, and Mary J. Blige were joining forces to create a biographical film to depict the rise of the genre’s most revered sister act – The Clark Sisters.

Cited as an inspiration by some of popular music’s most prized vocalists from Whitney Houston to Mariah Carey, Blige, Beyonce, and more, the Clarks – Dorinda, Jacky, Twinkie, and Karen – broke music barriers and ushered in over five decades of Gospel classics and crossover hits including the likes of ‘You Brought the Sunshine,’ ‘Name It, Claim It,’ and more.

Now, as it rolls closer to its yet-announced premiere date, the movie – ‘The Clark Sisters:  The First Ladies of Gospel’ – is amping up viewers with news about its all-star cast.  Details inside:

‘The Breakfast Club’s resident host/DJ Charlamagne Tha God (born Lenard McKelvey) dropped a bombshell recently when he dished on his now dissolved relationship with former mentor/co-star Wendy Williams.  McKelvey, who rose to fame as Williams’ controversial sidekick on her nationally syndicated radio show, has made no secret in the past about the deterioration of his professional and personal affiliation with the ‘Queen of All Media’ – a failure he blames on her husband, Kevin Hunter.

Now, as Wendy makes headlines for drug abuse relapses, emotional breakdowns, and coping with Hunter’s reported infidelity (click here to read more), McKelvey’s weighing in with some stinging criticism.  Taking to our friends at Page Six, the famed DJ stated:

“The real rehab she needs is from Kevin Hunter.”

That’s not all he said. Click inside to read more:

2019 has seen rapper The Game (born Jayceon Taylor) and conservative political commentator Tomi Lahren at each other’s throats damn near since the ball dropped.

Admittedly, it’s been the pettiness of Taylor that’s made most headlines as he – via his Instagram account – has launched several scathing, profanity laden attacks toward the way of Lahren.  Slamming her appearance to her judgment of 21 Savage‘s reported illegal immigrant status (which also earned claps from the likes of Nicki Minaj and Cardi B as we reported here) and much more, the ‘How We Do’ hitmaker even took to daytime TV talk show ‘The Real’ earlier this week (March 18) to detail his longstanding disdain for the television personality.

Once news of his appearance hit her desk, she took to FOX News to label him “low class” and “irrelevant” to the rap game.  His response? Well, let’s just say it was so expletive ridden we’d rather let you read it for yourself:

Just a month after making headlines for slamming a set of detractors with homophobic slurs, Instagram star/comedienne Jess Hilarious (born Jessica Moore) was in the news again Sunday (March 17) for making xenophobic comments about Sikh men on her plane.

As commenters began to weigh in on the 27-year-old’s insensitive remarks, she clapped back with:

“Y’all mad at me because I don’t side with any other black person, because I don’t side with every other race. F**k y’all. I feel how I feel. I felt threatened and that was it. F**k y’all, and I’m not flying there. We were evacuated, bitch. Why? Why? with no technical difficulties or nothing.”

Needless to say, the statements didn’t go over well with fans especially as just two days prior New Zealand’s deadliest Muslim attack in its history left 51 men, women and children dead.  Now, two days after the incident first caused uproar, Moore took to social media to apologize for her insensitivity.
