August 2024 will mark five years since the world got its first official taste of former Fifth Harmony star Normani as a solo act with the Ilya-produced, Platinum-selling smash ‘Motivation.’

And while the R&B stageblazer has changed creative direction and fueled fan excitement multiple times in the time since with promises her long-awaited debut album would “come soon,” she recently took to press to confirm that 2024 is without a doubt the year her beloved supporters – affectionately called the #NormaniNation – will finally get what they have been waiting for.

iHeartMedia and FOX Entertainment have thrown their names into the fray of award show season madness by announcing the nominees for the 12th annual iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Set to air live from Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday (April 1), the highly anticipated event – like past iterations – will toast the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app across the previous year.

Streaming on the iHeartRadio app as well as iHeartRadio stations as well, the ceremony will not only feature award presentations in multiple categories like genre-specific Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and more but will boast live performances from some of the biggest artists in music.

2024’s award season is in full swing, and GLAAD is the latest to make headlines for lifting the lid on news around their annual award show and its nominees.

Now in its 35th year, the two-night ceremony – set to take place in Los Angeles (March 14) and New York City (May 11) – is poised to continue its tradition of honoring “media for fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues.”

With over 300 nominees being recognized across 33 categories, look inside to see if the your favorite TV, music, and film projects from 2023 made the cut.

Award season is in full swing and the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2024 is unquestionably one of its most hotly anticipated ceremonies.

Celebrating achievements on the big screen both in Britain and globally, this year’s nominations bring with them major nods for homegrown films such as ‘Rye Lane,’ ‘The Color Purple’ stars Fantasia Barrino and Danielle Brooks, and ‘Rustin’ anchor Colman Domingo.

Winners will be announced on Sunday, February 18 on BBC1 and iPlayer.

Award show season in full swing, and you can expect the year’s best and biggest in entertainment to be gearing up to grace the stages of annual staples to perform or accept some of the industry’s most coveted trophies.

The latest to unveil its highly anticipated list of nominees is the E! People’s Choice Awards.

Hosted by Simu Liu, the year’s list of leading musical nominees includes Bad Bunny, Drake, Beyonce, Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, and Taylor Swift.

They aren’t the only big names in the vying for the night’s prized statuettes, however.

There is more heat being unleashed in the fiery feud between Jada Kingdom and Stefflon Don. For, the former has kicked off the week with yet another diss aimed at her nemesis named ‘Accept Dat.’

The pair’s lyrical rift was amplified when Steff debuted ‘Dat A Dat,’ which Kingdom clapped back at with ‘London Bed.’ Sparks flew afresh when Steff deployed ‘Dead Dyal Walking.’

Kingdom responded with  ‘Steff Lazarus,’ with Steff returning serve with ‘Dead Gyal Talking.’

And now there’s ‘Accept Dat.’

Another day, another diss track in the fiery feud between Jada Kingdom and Stefflon Don. 

As reported, the performers have been lyrically sparring after initially throwing jabs on social media.

The war of words intensified when Steff dropped ‘Dat A Dat,’ which Kingdom responded to with ‘London Bed.’ That dance played on when Steff unleashed ‘Dead Dyal Walking.’

And today, the stars continue to throw pepper and spice on their scorching beef.

For, Jada has dropped another diss track named ‘Steff Lazarus.’

As has been the case with each song unlocked, the lyrical jabs are clearly designed to sting.

Award season is in full swing!

The nominations for Screen Actors Guild Awards 2024 have been announced and bring with them nods for ‘The Color Purple’ and its star Danielle Brooks.

Also receiving ample shine are Colman Domingo for his performance in ‘Rustin,’ ‘Barbie,’ and ‘American Fiction.’

 The 30th annual SAG Awards will stream live globally on Netflix Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall.

Just as the 2023 Primetime EMMYs were delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes so were the Creative Arts EMMYs that annually precede them.

After much anticipation, however, the latter’s two-night ceremony commenced Saturday (January 6) to toast the artistic and technical achievements in TV’s animated, reality, variety, short-form, documentary series, and specials genres.

Ahead of the show’s 75th annual edition airing on FXX on January 13, the first night’s winners have been revealed.

Arguably one of modern TV history’s most unsung actresses, the first step toward remedying that may have come Saturday night (January 6) when the 61-year-young star finally got her flowers in the form of her first EMMY.
