Sitting down with Nessa, Cardi opened up about her eagerly awaited sophomore album and shared that a team-up with the female Rap pioneer is at the top of her list. She even revealed that she has specific tracks in mind.

‘The Best Man’ is back for a super-sized swansong.

NBC‘s streamer Peacock will be the home for the limited series ‘The Best Man: Final Chapters.’

As reported, the -episode show will reunite original cast members Morris Chestnut, Melissa De Sousa, Taye Diggs, Regina Hall, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, and Harold Perrineau.

Malcolm D. Lee, who helmed the first two films, is back on board to write and executive produce alongside Dayna Lynne North (who exec produced HBO’s ‘Insecure’).

After watching her last two major singles ‘W.A.P.’ and ‘Up’ fly right up to the top of the charts just a week after their respective releases, Cardi B is looking to see her newest number ‘Hot Sh*t’ get the same response on the Hot 100.

News of the tune’s release came as quite the surprise as B’s dedicated fans – affectionately called the #BardiGang – become increasingly impatient in regards to the diva’s long-awaited sophomore album, the follow-up to 2018’s history-making ‘Invasion of Privacy.’ 

Attaching fellow chart-topping rappers Kanye West and Lil Durk to the hotly-anticipated tune, the arrival of ‘Hot’ comes amidst ample buzz.

Surprise Southern duo Usher and City Girls may have rolled their way to the song of the summer with their new rink-ready anthem ‘Good Love.’

First teased on June 23 by Girls group member Yung Miami, the news sent their faithful fans (affectionately called #Citizens) into a frenzy – a response that was doubled down on once Ush confirmed the report for his faithful fans.

Furthering anticipation for the cut with the reveal of a snippet of its DAPS-directed music video (filmed at Atlanta’s famous Cascade roller rink), the clip sees the 43-year-old R&B veteran show the Girls a thing or two on the rink floor with his fancy footwork.

Backed by a full band (and guests such as Eric Bellinger), the Diamond selling R&B veteran delivered a vocally astute set comprised of smash hits and newer numbers.

Indeed, Ush wowed with ‘You Make Me Wanna,’ ‘My Way,’ ‘You Don’t Have To Call,’ and ‘Nice & Slow.’

That Grape Juice was on-hand at the BET Awards 2022 and so too was Jussie Smollett. Surprisingly.

Having kept a relatively low profile amidst ample legal drama, the actor has returned to the spotlight with his new film project, ‘B-Boy Blues.’

Streaming now on BET+, the movie is billed as a compelling re-telling of James Earl Hardy’s novel about a same-sex romance.

Speaking with TGJ’s Archie Jay, Smollett expanded on the importance of the flick, shaking off anxiety, and more.
