It’s here!

Latto has linked up with the legendary Mariah Carey for the official ‘Big Energy’ remix.

Both the original song and Mimi’s 1995 classic ‘Fantasy’ are built around a prominent sample of Tom Tom Club’s ‘Genius of Love’, thus making the collab all sorts of apt.

On the refreshed version of the jam, which is housed on the femcee’s sophomore album ‘777,’ the pair trade verses…and whistle notes.

With over 500 awards to her credit, Beyoncé sits in history books as the most-awarded living act in all of entertainment.

Having already conquered the GRAMMYs as its most-decorated singer to date (28 wins), Bey’s stride toward EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) status was expected to take a leap in the right direction Sunday night (March 27) as the diva earned acclaim for delivering her first Academy Award performance for a song she was nominated for.

By the night’s end, however, it was her beloved fan group (the #Beyhive) who was making the delivery – a set of stings to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) for awarding the golden statuette to Billie Eilish‘s ‘No Time to Die.’

‘Ali’ and ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’ are not only regarded as two of Will Smith‘s best motion pictures, but many hail the masterpieces as two of the century’s greatest cinematic offerings.

And while both were recognized with nominations by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) in their years of eligibility (2002 and 2007 respectively), neither nabbed a golden statuette for Smith – a loss many critics still deem a misstep on behalf of the Academy.

Sunday (March 27) brought with it what may be redemption, however, when Will walked away with the Best Actor trophy for his acclaimed performance as Richard Williams – father of legendary tennis sisters Serena and Venus Williams – in 2021’s ‘King Richard.’
