It’s been six months since fans of Lizzo (affectionately called #Lizzbians) got new music from the GRAMMY winner, but – with talk of a world tour in the works – we may be closer than ever to the unveiling of her yet-titled major label sophomore project.

The baking process of the forthcoming global jaunt was documented for a reality show dance competition called ‘Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.’

Set to drop on Prime Video March 25, the eight-episode venture – executive produced by Lizzo and directed by Nneka Onuorah – will invite viewers into the process of how the songstress (born Melissa Jefferson) selects her next slew of backup dancers, a hunt that will see her specifically seek out candidates from demographics that have historically been underrepresented in entertainment.

Mary J. Blige followed her 2017 album, ‘Strength of a Woman,’ with the longest break between LPs of her career to date.

And though she filled the time with garnering critical acclaim and award nominations for her work in film and television, the Hip Hop Soul Queen never stopped promising new music – a pledge she made good on with the February 11 release of ‘Good Morning Gorgeous.’

Kicked off by the Dave East-assisted ‘Rent Money,’ the DJ Khaled-assisted ‘Amazing,’ and the song ‘Good Morning Gorgeous’ (which peaked at #2 on Billboard R&B charts), anticipation for the project was only outpaced by excitement for her involvement in the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show (February 13).

In conjunction with the Super Bowl spotlight, Mary hit the promo trail running in support of ‘Gorgeous’ via a number of high profile outings on Web and print including ‘The Breakfast Club,’ ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest,’ ‘Ebro in the Morning’ (Hot 97), ‘The L.A. Times,’ and more.

With a career that spans over 6 decades, Queen of Rock N’ Roll Tina Turner reigns as one of the most popular singers in the history of recorded music.

Despite an enduring admiration from fans and peers, however, the elusive icon – now 82-years-young – has no regrets about bowing out of the limelight to enjoy her well-earned retirement with husband/music executive Erwin Bach.

The lovebirds, who have been married since 2013 (but together for over 30 years), reiterated the stance in a rare interview featured in the newest edition of German magazine ‘Madame.’

Demi Lovato may have a wall full of Gold and Platinum plaques for a brigade of Pop-leaning hits, but now the GRAMMY nominee says its time to reverse their sound back to its ‘roots.’

In a recent interview with ‘Rolling Stone’ the 29-year-old reiterated the intent to drive their next album in the direction of Emo-Rock.

“…there’s a bit of… and when I say heaviness, I don’t mean lyrically, but heaviness as in some of the sound that I haven’t done before, which is exciting. It’s a new era reminiscent of my first era,” Lovato revealed.

The chat with RS came just moments after the acoustic version of ‘FIIMY’ – Demi’s duet with Winnetka Bowling League – made its premiere on YouTube.

50 Cent may have shocked Super Bowl LVI viewers with his surprise performance of the 2003 hit ‘In Da Club’ during the star-studded Halftime show (which also featured Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar), but many were equally stunned by the 46-year-old’s noticeable weight gain.

The 2000’s rapper-turned-media mogul, who was at one time lauded for his chiseled physique, was the source of ridicules and memes after the historic, Hip Hop-heavy showing.

But, instead of taking offense to the ongoing barrage of insults, 50 (born Curtis Jackson) let it be known he’s taking the criticism in stride.

It’s a good week to be Mary J. Blige.

As if being part of a historic, Hip Hop collective at this week’s Super Bowl Halftime Show wasn’t enough (February 13), her new album, Good Morning Gorgeous, is set to rise to the top of R&B charts next week – a feat outshined only by the critical acclaim it’s being given.

But, just as the diva reiterated her request for no more drama during her stunning Super Bowl set, drama is exactly what ensued after the showing as some viewers complained the content was too provocative.

Taking to ‘Ebro in the Morning’ Wednesday (February 16), the Queen of Hip Hop Soul weighed in on the hoopla.  Look inside to see what she said:
