Just as Latto begins one major chapter of her life, she’s closing the book on another.

The GRAMMY-nominated rapstress (born Alyssa Stephens) gave birth to her first child earlier this month, a journey to motherhood heavily documented with well-wishes from fans, celebrity peers, and – of course – the baby’s father 21 Savage.

Undoubtedly, the pregnancy served as inspiration for some of the tunes that line the tracklist of her new LP – the May 29-released ‘Big Mama‘ – but few knew she would be inspired to hang up her mic permanently and focus solely on being a big mama.

Branding the project her retirement album (at just 27-years-old), ‘Mama’ comes as 17-track effort – the follow-up to 2024’s ‘Sugar Honey Iced Tea’ – and a star-studded affair that shines with contributions from the likes of Savage as well as GloRilla, Mariah the Scientist, Doja Cat, WizKid, Teyana Taylor, Sexyy Red, and more

Lizzo is leaving veganism in the past and pulling up to Chili’s for a plate.

As revealed Wednesday (May 27), the GRAMMY winner is the star of the bar & grill’s revival of their famous ‘Baby Back Ribs’ jingle and menu item – a role she says she’s the “perfect person” for despite once being very vocal about avoiding the consumption of animal protein.

“I think that I’m very sensitive about the way I deliver personal news to the world,” she said of the partnership. “When I announced that I was no longer vegan, and that I was consuming animal protein, I was so nervous that I would hurt people’s feelings or let people down. But it was important for me to say that back then, because of things like this now, where, you know, it would have been super jarring for me to be a vegan in 2021, and then 2026, I’m eating a big old rib…”
