JLS‘ label are sparing no expense when it comes to group’s sophomore LP, if the producers they are working with are any indication.

The British Pop divas confirmed that they are set to work with hit-makers Swizz Beats and Claude Kelly for the as-yet untitled album, which is due to hit stores in November. Swizz, real name Kasseem Dean, has produced smashes for the likes of Beyonce and Alicia Keys, while Kelly has crafted hits for Whitney Houston, Fantasia, and more.

It is also believed their latest material will be fused with select tracks from their self-titled debut to feature on the US edition of LP – which is being released by heavyweight Pop label Jive.

Granted access to such noted names is a great look for the guys, they’ll have to miraculously up their game, if they’re to a) garner any success in the cut-throat US and b) be regarded as more than just another mediocre boy-band. After all, you can spray and polish doo-doo, but it’ll still ultimately be… doo-doo.

As Fantasia relayed to That Grape Juice in her interview with us earlier this year, her life has always been an “open book”. A statement which has proved itself resoundingly valid over the last few weeks. Indeed, the American Idol alum has found herself at the centre of scandal and (almost) tragedy as of late.

However, with an album hitting stores tomorrow, the 25 year old is picking up the pieces and fighting back. As well as a number of promotional appearances for the LP, the mother of one is set to feature on an episode of VH1’s ‘Behind The Music’ – which airs tomorrow.

Check out People Magazine‘s preview of the episode, which sees Fantasia reveal that she did indeed attempt to take her own life.

Following the debut of the latest season of the X-Factor, many took to Twitter and message boards to complain about the apparent use of autotune voice-enhancement on some contestants voices.

So much have such murmurings mounted, that the show’s bosses have moments ago admitted they did indeed use autotune for (…wait for it…) “necessary post-production work”…

Following the so-so performance of Kandi‘s debut album back in 2000, the former Xscape singer has kept a relatively low profile on the musical side of the fence.

However, the ‘No Scrubs’ writer is said to be recording a new album – and was recently snapped with hit-maker Ne-Yo working on the project (the process of which is being documented in the latest season of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ – in which she stars).

Speaking of Ne-Yo, the singer-songwriter is putting the finishing touches to his ‘Libra Scale’ LP, and is currently recording with producer Dallas Austin. As for his unique ensemble (above), we’re hearing the crooner was inspired the fashion he spotted here in London town during his recent promo trip…
