Viewers of Brandy‘s hit VH1 reality show ‘A Family Business’ will recall the singer’s disdain for 2008’s ‘Human’ – her most recent studio album. However, in a new interview with OUT.com, the 30 year old elaborated on her dislike of the LP and its chart performance.

Trey Songz made a surprising announcement at last evening’s MTV VMAs. The aspiring porn star singer revealed that he will be joining Usher’s ‘OMG’ tour as a supporting act. The show launches on November 10th in Seattle, giving Songz enough time to recover from his ‘Passion, Pain & Pleasure’ tour with Monica which ends this week.

4 albums released and Songz is still serving as an opening act for someone else? Then again, he only has 1 top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100 and only 1 certified album so it’s not surprising. The neighbours might know his name but they don’t know it well enough to buy a ticket to 1 of his solo concerts (or watch his failed reality show).

That Grape Juice favourite Trey Songz is set to release his fourth studio album ‘Passion, Pain & Pleasure’ in less than one week (next Tuesday / September 14th). Yet with the LP’s preceding singles ‘Bottoms Up’ and ‘Can’t Be Friends’ collectively doing not much of anything on the charts, many are scratching their heads as to what first week numbers the 25 year old will chart with.

For, if one is to believe the crooner’s BET reality show – Songz is a superstar, with the largest of fan-bases. Yet, on the other hand, interest in the record appears minimal.

With that, we here at That Grape Juice want to hear what you think. How much do you feel Trey will sell come next week. (There may very well be something in it for the reader with the most accurate predication…)

Rapper Ludacris kicked off the 5th Annual LudaDay Weekend in Atlanta last night. The anniversary dinner, which was attended by the likes Kelly Rowland and Sean Garrett (both pictured above), served as the first event of the Weekend – which was created as a platform to give back to the community and celebrate unity amongst the city’s taste-makers. {Source}

Tidbit: Kelly is set to feature on the latest Sims 3 expansion pack, ‘The Sims 3: Late Night’. The 29 year old re-recorded her new single ‘Rose Coloured Glasses’ in “sim language” to feature in the game. Anyone who knows about computer games, knows ‘The Sims’ franchise is a huge seller, hence this is a really good look for Ms. Kelly.

Ne-Yo is one of the most outspoken musicians in the game so it comes as no surprise that he would have something to say about T.I’s recent arrest. Shockingly, however, the singer/songwriter does not blame the rapper himself. Rather, he says that T.I simply surrounds himself with the wrong people. Check out what he had to say below:
