Shawn Mendes has returned with new music.

For, the music superstar has just unleashed his latest tune, ‘It’ll Be Okay.’

The stirring ballad sees the singer contemplate the end of a relationship. Across the tune, he sings:

Are we gonna make it / Is this gonna hurt / oh, we can try to sedate it / but that never works.

The ‘Monster’ hitmaker first announced the song yesterday and it arrives shortly after he and longtime girlfriend Camila Cabello called it quits earlier this year.

This is the first taste of new music from Mendes since his song ‘Summer Of Love.’

The eagerly anticipated Warner Bros. picture sees Aml Ameen star as Melvin, a British author living in America.

With the holidays drawing near, he returns home to London to introduce his American fiancée, Lisa (played by Aja Naomi King) to his British-Caribbean family.

The warm embrace of his loved ones is juxtaposed by the iciness with his x-girlfriend Georgia (played by Leigh-Anne Pinnock), who has become a global Pop star in his absence.
