As star, director, and craftsman of the film’s score, Donald Glover (with help from his musical alter ego Childish Gambino) seemingly wore every hat imaginable for the new movie ‘Bando Stone & the New World.’

Portraying the flick’s titular character Bando Stone, ‘New World’ chronicles the life of a mail carrier whose epic journey to music superstardom sees him have to survive battling otherworldly creatures like monsters, dinosaurs, and more.

A dramatic comedy, the film boasts writing from Evi Wilder and will feature one of the last two Gambino albums.

It’s been nearly 20 years since actor-rapper Will Smith last saw his name attached to a credit on the Billboard Hot 100, but that could be set to change soon thanks to his new song ‘You Can Make It.’

“You are in the smoke and the fire / Tight rope on the wire / I see you’re broken and tired / And all your hope is expired / You’re just done with the change and the games and the shame / And the world is insane, all the pain from the flames,” he raps on the Ayo the Producer-helmed cut.

Eric Benet is kicking off his next era with a bang and bringing fellow GRAMMY nominee Tamar Braxton along for the ride.

Reportedly gearing up to release a series of EPs (his first bodies of work since 2016), the veteran R&B crooner lifted the new single ‘Something to Make Love To‘ on Friday (June 28) as the first taste of what the forthcoming projects are set to serve sonically.
