Burna Boy was one of the many notable names who rocked the stage at Global Citizen 2021.

Held simultaneously in cities across the world such as Los Angeles, London, New York, Mumbai, Paris, Lagos, Sydney, and Rio De Janeiro, the event called for action to halt climate change and stresses the need for funds to combat famine and facilitate mass COVID-19 vaccinations.

The GRAMMY Award-winner took command of Central Park in NYC, blazing through live showings of hits such as ‘Anybody,’ ‘Ye,’ and recent single ‘Kilometre.’

Nicki Minaj made her grand return to the stage tonight with an unannounced performance at Lil Baby‘s Los Angeles Staples Center show.

The femcee has been on a break of sorts since the birth of her son last year. More recently, she revealed that she bailed on an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards last month due to concerns around the COVID-19 vaccine. A remark which ignited a chaotic set of weeks for Minaj.

With the latter in rearview, the rapper powered through live performances of her remix to Bia’s ‘Whole Lotta Money’ and ‘Seeing Green.’

Kelly Price made headlines worldwide yesterday when she was declared a missing person after her family filed a report with authorities advising that they had not heard from her following her abrupt release from the hospital.

The singer had been recovering from the effects of COVID-19 and loved ones expressed particular worry given that she isn’t considered to be back in fighting form.

It was further claimed that Price’s boyfriend wasn’t allowing her family to visit their residence; a welfare check by officers found no foul play but presumably found no trace of the performer. Hence, the official labeling as a missing person.

Confusion surfaced when a rep issued a statement stressing that Price was not missing, only for the star’s sister to assert that she would not believe it until she “physically sees her.”

Now, Price herself has seemingly resurfaced and weighed in on the chaos.

Readers of That Grape Juice know how passionate we are about music – whether that be past or present.

However, unlike our other segments – Retro Rewind, TGJ Replay, and From The Vault – The Pop Stop is the most in-depth look at Pop songs that may have flown under the radar over the last week that you should know, rather they be from music’s biggest stars or those on the rise.

This week, we want to highlight cuts from Mickey Guyton, Daya, The Lumineers, and Lily Kincade.
