As the countdown continues to the June 7 release of Meghan Trainor‘s sixth major-label studio album, ‘Timeless,’ her beloved fans (affectionately called #MegaTronz) can expect to hear even more gems from the highly anticipated project ahead of its unveiling.

Kicked off by singles ‘To the Moon‘ and the T-Pain-assisted ‘Been Like This,’ the LP’s announcement was accompanied by news Trainor will be hitting the road alongside Natasha Bedingfield, Chris Olsen, and Paul Russell in support of the forthcoming effort on the like-titled ‘‘Timeless Tour.’

Ahead of that North American jaunt’s September launch, Trainor has lifted the new song ‘I Wanna Thank Me‘ to major streaming services.

Shyne is the latest name to speak up and out against Diddy in the wake of the viral video depicting him attacking Cassie.

The Bad Boy rapper turned Belize-based politician has had a roller-coaster relationship with the embattled mogul. Dating back to 25 years ago.

Indeed, Shyne – real name Moses Barrow – went from being signed to Diddy’s label to declaring that its founder had betrayed him in the aftermath of the 1999 nightclub shooting that led to him being jailed for 10 years. While incarcerated, he cut all ties with Diddy and Bad Boy.

In recent years, the pair mended fences and have even performed together – the latest occasion being a surprise performance in London last October.

However, ties appear to have been cut once again. For, Shyne has issued a statement denouncing Diddy’s actions in the 2016 hotel recording and making clear that he “wants absolutely nothing” to do with him.

Only a month separates fans of Meghan Trainor (affectionately called #MegaTronz) from the June 7 release of her highly anticipated sixth major-label studio album, ‘Timeless.’

Kicked off by the T-Pain-assisted ‘Been Like This,’ the project was recently announced alongside news she will be embarking on its supportive jaunt, ‘The Timeless Tour,’ with names like Natasha Bedingfield, Chris Olsen, Paul Russell, and Ryan Trainor serving as opening acts.

Before that trek hits the road in September, Trainor is giving music lovers yet another taste of what they can expect from the forthcoming LP with the May 3-released ‘To the Moon.’

Just as they were getting acquainted with the Federico Vindver-produced cut, Meghan surprised with its inaugural televised live performance on ‘American Idol’ and, later, the release of its official music video.  See both inside.

Kendrick Lamar and Drake have been laying the lyrical smackdown on each other with back-to-back diss tracks.

One of the latest, K.Dot’s ‘Not Like Us,’ has captivated the masses – not only because of its hard-hitting production and even harder hitting jabs, but it’s surprise mention of WWE legend Shawn Michaels.

Indeed, Lamar referenced the Heartbreak Kid’s iconic finishing move ‘Sweet Chin Music’ when he rapped:

“Put the whole label on me, I’mma get ’em dropped. Sweet Chin Music and I won’t pass the aux.”

NLE Choppa has joined the masses of folk praising Beyonce for blazing a trail with her blockbuster new album ‘Cowboy Carter.’

The Country-flavored LP topped the charts with the year’s biggest sales and introduced the mainstream masses to Black acts active in the genre such as Shaboozey and Tanner Adell. Their music has been exploding too, especially Shaboozey with ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy).’

She’s back!

After a lengthy hiatus from the music scene to focus on headline-grabbing acting endeavors, singer-actress Vanessa Williams puts on her dancing shoes to boogie back onto the charts with her first album in 15 years.

“What a joy it is to be making new music behind the [mic] again with old friends,”  the 61-year-old said about her new album due later this year. “There’s a certain comfort in creating new works in the studio while reminiscing about how so many years in this business have brought successes, excitement, and lasting memories.”

Set to be distributed by her own label, Mellian Music, the independent project’s first single comes courtesy of the electric ‘Legs (Keep Dancing).’

“They say the legs are the last to go/  I’ma keep dancing / I’m still putting on the show / I’ma keep dancing until I can’t do it no more,” she wails in the Chantry Johnson and Kipper Jones-penned bop.
