Ariana Grande has unlocked the video for ‘the boy is mine’ and it brings with it a number of surprises.

For, beyond the songbird starring alongside ‘You’ actor Penn Badgley in the Christian Breslauer-directed visual, she tapped R&B icons Brandy and Monica to make cameos in the cinematic flick.

The duo topped the charts with their like-titled track and etched the term into pop culture in perpetuity. Thus, making Grande’s nod to the GRAMMY-winning duo all the more apt.

Housed on the superstar’s ‘eternal sunshine’ album, ‘the boy is mine’ follows chart-topping singles ‘yes, and?’ and ‘we can’t be friends (wait for your love).’

From headline-grabbing commentary on his infamous sex tape with Kim Kardashian to discussion about Kanye West, Diddy and Cassie (as we reported here), Floyd Mayweather, on-and-off relationship with soon-to-be ex-wife Princess Love, and so much more, Ray J‘s recent press tour has nothing short of jaw-dropping quotes (to say the least).

Among the myriad of hot topics broached was the standout of his current relationship with his legendary sister Brandy.

The two have historically been very close, but – as of late – fans of both have noticed a distance, one that Ray brazenly admitted was due to some of his actions over the last couple of years.

Despite his shortcomings, the singer-actor-businessman is not only hoping for forgiveness but is also (once again) petitioning the diva and her ‘Boy is Mine‘ co-star and fellow R&B icon Monica to embark on a joint world tour.

Billie Eilish plays double duty as director and star of the music video for her latest ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft‘ single ‘CHIHIRO.’

Starring Nat Wolff, the visual – which serves as the follow-up to the top 10 hit ‘Lunch‘ – sees her stumble through a dream as she envisions dark hallways and closing doors that symbolize the darkest corners of her mind.

“Open up the door, can you open up the door? / I know you said before you can’t cope with any more / You told me it was war, said you’d show me what’s in store / I hope it’s not for sure, can you open up the door?,” she croons in the artsy clip.
