Alicia Keys and hitmaker boyfriend Swizz Beats have been renown for shrouding their relationship in secrecy. However, at last night’s Gotham Magazine Annual Gala in new York at Capitale, the couple – for the first time – stepped out together for all to see. Indeed, reports from the event stress that the pair held hands, hugged, and didn’t hold back in showing just how much of a couple they were.

I like A. Keys, but this relationship is so tacky. I really do think that she could have done way better, but she chose this.

To the first two comments: How can you judge someone’s life who you don’t even personally know? You do not know the whole story. You both act like you have seen their “sexual relationship” develop for years when it may not have even existed prior to this. Don’t talk garbage when you don’t know the 100% truth. But I guess some people just take some sick pleasure in wrongfully bashing celebrities.
Sorry but it is what it is. This has been going on for years. It is nothing new. When you come in a relationship like that your union is never blessed. She should have never got with him til the papers was done cause she look tacky and looks like she can’t get a man without breaking up a home. She lost points with me. What she and swizz gonna tell the kids? Hello darlings this is the girl that messed up your family? As a wife it bothers me that she would do this and the fact that they hid it proves it in my eyes.

@AC, it’s my opinion, get over yourself! I don’t have to be in their bed to know that they have been together while Swiss Beats was married. As I stated I think it was tacky and that Alicia could have done better, because it’s true, but that doesn’t take away from A. Keys being a wonderful humanitarian and artist.

WOW!!!! Didn’t know it was like that, i really never paid much attention to alicia’s personal life. I’m happy for her, i just hope she’s prepared for the scrutiny she’s gonna receive for this since it was rumored that she was the reason for swizz’s marriage falling apart.

Well, just like you say they don’t know what was going on, neither do you! So to assume that they have not been in a relationship for years is just as judgmental. Additionally, it has been reported by numerous people who work at the label that they have been seeing each other years before he was separated or divorced. But we all know that they have been seeing each other for the past year in which he was not yet divorced until this past month. So to me there is still no excuse! Separation and divorce are two different things!

It must be nice to be so perfect that u can place judgement on other ppl lives and a situation that u know absolutely nothing about. Just because u read the blogs and u’ve heard one side the story doesn’t mean u have any idea about what really happened and y should u even care it has NO impact on ur life AT ALL!!! To all the ppl who think this union will never be blessed who r u to even say that. Life is not a narrow path God can take us through many paths to get us where he want us to be.
