So for anyone who complain about volume of Bey or Rihanna albums: It’s not always about staying in the limelight. Some people love what they do. Some people like to take time off from their work and then come back. Some take time away from their work because they have personal issues that they have to work out.
But especially back in the day, artists released albums, EPs, 45s(if you want to take all the way back) all the time. They were that connected to their music and putting their stuff out there. Plus, especially now, artists are paid by the album contractually. So when an artist finishes their album contract, they can get another contract from their label.

Rihanna’s GGGB outsold B-Day and IASF on a ww scale. Beyonce for her last two errors has only gotten 1 number1 a piece. Nobody is tripping off of her. All of the other ladies are releasing solid strong material. Beyoncce’s the one that had better bring it. Beyonce’s fans seem to be more threatened than all of the other artists fans, their the ones that keep talking about other artists. Rihanna is gonna do her thing regardless, she must be a threat because yall keep talking to her. Beyonce is not the queen of r&b. ARight now Lady Gaga is about the biggest Popstar there is out there. Beyonce is threatened she knows that Gaga is huge, and Rihanna’s single is smashing, it kills her to relax.
You call taking a break being on magazine covers, shooting photoshoots, doing interviews, being on blogs, and performing taking a real break. I don’t think so. Yall act like she just released her last album then went on hiatus, she’s been in the spotlight for a good amount of time since the release of IASF.
Beyonce isn’t God, she does’nt have to give anybody a chance. Kelly is gonna do very well this time around. She has been releasing some great music. You don’t have to knock others in order to try to make Beyonce look good. Not to mention that Taylor Swift is gonna sell in huge numbers more than likely also.

All those people u listed have said great things about other artists as well. Beyonce’s name being discussed with Michael Jackson’s is completelu absurd. Not even close. Fact remains GGGB has outsold both of Beyonce’s last two efforts. Her first album Rihanna’s she was just establishing herself. Her second one sold over 4 million units not bad. Her last one 3 million, not huge but good enough. Rihanna has more number ones right. And look at how her latest single is smashing. Why would she be concerned about Beyonce again ? Next……..

I can’t wait to see what direction she takes & what her 1st two singles will sound like. I think that like everyone else, she will jump on the electronica-dance sound but will “Beyonce-fye” it. I’m not a hater or a stan of hers, just a fan of music & observer of the music industry so it still amazes me that other females take a risk with their music, get critical acclaim but don’t sell so well and Beyonce jumps on the same idea & it’s a hit across the board.
