Spike Lee hosted the ‘Unstaged’ concert in New York City last evening. Several musicians performed at the event including Melanie Fiona, Common and Estelle. During a performance by John Legend and The Roots powerhouse singer Jennifer Hudson came on stage to sing the Gospel classic ‘Be Grateful’. Check out the footage below:
As usual, Hudson shut it down. She definitely has one of the most powerful voices in the industry today and showings like these help to build the excitement for her next studio album. Hopefully she doesn’t belt her way through the entire LP though. Variation is key.

Yes, Jennifer Hudson did shut it down . She may have lost a lot of weight, but that amazing voice and those great vocals has not gone anywhere. Jen looked as stunning. I love her new transformation. A true super star in the making. I can not wait for her new album to come out.

TRENT’S THE RETARD: I don’t know how much you know about Jenny from the block of chi town, but Jen has no limits. She is problemly the most versatilte artist in the industry. Please don’t let the first album fool you. This young multi-talented lady can deliever the lows just as hard as she gives us the highs. Gospel is just her home base. Jen can do rock, pop, country, jazz, and R&B and soul. I see you don’t know much about Jhud, but you will very soon.

KIYA: Have you lost your mind Fantasia is the biggest screamer in the business. Jennifer Hudson can sing circles around Tasia, and I am also a Fantasia fan as well. The real deal is you don’t know real music. Jhud ant nothing but the real truth. Jen did not lose any melody of that song. Do you even know music are singing. There is a major difference between the two(singing and screaming). Honestly Jhud is the best female vocalist in the business today hands down.

Destiny: Jennifer Hudson is not only a better singer than Fantasia. She is the best female vocalist in the business today hands down. I support R&B music period, but Jhud ant nothing but the real truth. They all can sing, but none can sing better than Jenny from the block of the windy city. Like I stated before Fantasia is the biggest screamer of them all. I like her and her music, but she is very loud and not classy at all. The biggest hood rat of them all. They are all from the hood of some area, but she brings hers everywhere she goes. She is very country and loose.
