Just having such heavyweights on one track obviously would yield pressure to deliver something great. While the song is undeniably hot, it still feels like its missing something. This song was actually boring. It was dominated by Bey. It lacked balance between the artists. Run This Town offered a great mixture of balance between each artists’ lyrical delivery. On to Kelly Rowland. If y’all will go back and read the interview she did on ThatGrapeJuice and listen to some radio interviews, you will understand number isn’t the focus. Working the album is. Like it or not (and being a Kelly fan I don’t like it) her team is waiting to spend the promotion money over in the UK. Kelly has to rebuild her fan base in the US and so far she’s doing a good job. Yeah her old fans are pissed at what look like poor promo, but four years ago her old team didn’t have her face out there, and she didn’t have half of the endorsement deals she have now, and she was not touring with another big name artist (like him or not Chris Brown is a super star). And believe me Chris need Kelly (UK shows) just as much as Kelly need Chris (US shows).
Bruno Mars numbers was so much lower than Kelly’s and his album won a Grammy and went platinum after he worked the album. Give the woman a chance to work the album, but I don’t think her or her team was expecting Motivation to still be hot. Hell most of us wasn’t.
I tilt my hat to Beyonce and Kelly, because it’s no way in hell people could talk so much s*** about me and I not say “Kiss my ass”.

This song proves why these two are THE MOST OVERRATED rappers to ever get behind the damn mic.The verses were WACK.Seriously, even Nicki Minaj and Wayne can deliver something better than this and they’re the definition of WACK.And something is wrong with the chorus too.Beyonce’s voice and vocal techniques don’t suit the beat at all and there is definetely some synchronism mistake because it sounds off.

I really like this. Beyonce always over-sings, everything….but I think it’s COMPLETELY appropriate on this song, and it’s on repeat right now! This required something other than a whiny “HEEYYYYY” and talk-singing on the track, so Rihanna wouldn’t have fit.
