People kill me trying to call out “shipped, not sold”, like it makes any difference. Platinum is platinum. If retailers ordered 2 million of Wayne’s album, then he’s double platinum…period. Doesn’t matter how much it actually sold; his label still had to press up 2 million copies of his album and send them out. So it’s 2x platinum.

Good for wayne but then again it don’t matter about sales wayne, the haters will turn your sales every which way but loose including making comments about how you and your label bought your albums, man these haters or a Getto Mess. But i know that you or a hard worker wayne and deserves everything that come your way in the form of a Blessing, keep up the good work. The good thing is i don’t see a Dam Soul Calling any of the “RAPPERS
MUSIC NAMES” Like Generic, micro wave or Pop Corn Music and thats a Blessing In Itself.

WOW
1Million debut week but he s already out of the worldwide chart with less than 2 Million sold.
I like Lil Wayne, I hope he can become more worldwide like Eminem is. Or at least like 50 & Kanye used to be.

I remember the days — not too long ago — when double platinum wasn’t all that stellar. Your album was a blockbuster when it hit 5 or 6x platinum. This iTunes age sucks. It’s made people too lazy to get their asses to the store and buy music.

Its crazy Lil wayne’s crap comes out and everyone seems to jump on the young money bandwagon. The album is just full of poor punchlines and raps over really good beats. Then we have lyrical geniuses like J Cole, only score Gold. Shame, really.
