Congratulations are most certainly in order for Adele.
Because, despite selling over 16 million copies world wide since last year, her album ’21‘ has now sold enough copies to match a record held by the ‘Titanic’ soundtrack.
Indeed, with 16 weeks spent at #1 in the US, it has now matched the soundtrack’s previously unbeaten chart run.

As if that wasn’t enough, with 104,000 copies sold in the US last week, the LP has now spent 16 weeks atop the Billboard 200, beating records previously held by The Beatles and Pink Floyd. Both of whom amassed 15 weeks on top with their respective albums ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ and ‘The Wall’.
With the rate ’21’ is selling, it won’t be long before it becomes the highest selling album of all time.
Ironically, Adele looks straight like Rose Dewitt-Bukater…

I’ve listened to the album and i still dont see what all the hype is about…Its a really good album but 19 was better to me….the highest selling album ever though? I just don’t get it…
I hate the clef in her chin (i dont fiind clefs attractive on anyone) But Adele is really pretty ….
Hope she stay healthy, but doesn’t lose too much weight. She is really a naturally pretty girl.

I will admit that Im one of few ppl who actually bought “19” (in 2009) …. but I have to say that when i first heard 19 i thought is was good. But when I first heard “21” …. i played that album like 10 times straight…LOL.
But you may have a point, because over the past 2 months, I’ve been listening to tracks from 19…..and not 21…hmmmmmmmmm

Also the way this is written it seems 21 has sold more than Titanic Soundtrack, when the later sold at least 25 million copies (not to mention Celine´s own album from that same year sold 25 million more, at the same time…)
