For years, the name ‘Braxton’ has been synomous with singer Toni.
Yet, after We tv series ‘Braxton Family Values’ hit it big, it’s Tamar who’s been on the lips of everyone and their mom.
The youngest of the Braxton clan, Tamar has been the show’s break-out star, etching words such as ‘dot com’, ‘dot org’, and ‘dot life’ into public consciousness. Now, the 34 year old hopes to etch herself into the favour of record-buyers, as she re-launches her solo career.
That Grape Juice TV‘s Patrick caught up with the singer at last week’s Los Angeles screening of ‘Braxton Family Values’. During their frank chat, Braxton dished on her forthcoming single, sound, and much more. As ever, Tamar was very much Tamar!

Ummmmm. I initially liked Tamar – I don’t really care for her as an artist but as a TV personality she is ok. Her entire attitude is more outlandish this season and she is a bit rude and immature towards her sisters.

I think shes making a mistake. Shes too into this hoodrat pop, pop it, drpo it, twist it, pick it up roll it thing.
I think if she goes down that road performance wise its gna be a fail, eg her gladys tribute. Musically it might be good though.
She needs to do whatever music she likes best but she also needs big vocal moments in there because thats what a lot of the BFV audience is looking for. Her singing in 4 notes is not interesting for anyone. Her voice is really the only thing she has going for her so she needs to focus on that no matter what musical style she goes for

If Tamar was so great why is she just now releasing an album as a solo artist at 35. I think i remeber her releasing an album as a solo artist before and it was a fail. Tamar is good as a reality tv personality but as far as a singer my taste will pass on that.

Tamar is soo low budget!!! If she didn’t have a super rich husband who would be checking for her?! She is classless, has no humility, and she owns ignorance like no other. I like the Braxtons show however, she is too much to take. I can see why Toni has made it in the industry and she hasn’t. LOW budget, No class and treats people like crap and she has never sold a record…child please.

Tamar attitude sucks. And if anyone thinks this girls is gonna be the next big superstar then they need to thinbk again. Yes she may be talented but so are a lot a ppl. I think it’s going to be very hard for her to translate her abilities into sales and at the end of the day that’s what it’s all about. Please beleve it. Tamar is very fortunate to have a rich husband.

Tamar can sing! I remember she tried solo success about a decade ago. The girl had a big voice just like Toni. I dont know if she still have it but i was so mad when she didnt pop off bac then lol. I can tell some people dont know anything about music because this isnt her first record.

Chick” image. She looks like Beyonce at age 45… In Tamar’s words ” that is not the business boo boo” cover yourself up a bit more, not as in being boring but try sexy classy. Her attitude stinks this season. She refers to herself in third party as in SHE like wtf? Who does that? I used to like her but I don’t anymore. She rude, arrogant with nothing to support her arrogance. She’s spoiled like an adolescent child. Tamar may be able to sing/good voice but she needs to humble herself and not think oh well I’m Tamar and I can sing so the people is going to like me. She’s putting herself up and above the level of Lady GaGa / Beyonce and she needs to get a quick realality check right now.com. She needs to listen and humble herself and learn to crawl before she walks in the life of music industry. Tamar thinks she’s better than others and that will be her downfall.

Tamar I used to love you and thought you were funny but no more. Her attitude, the bickering, fighting with her sisters and obsession with being a star is making her look very unattractive. UNATTRACTIVE.COM. I’m not sure she will do well as the mystery which you can see Toni is trying to preserve is unraveling with every new episode. Tamar is not likeable in recent shows and if you are not likeable the fans will not support you. Tamar find a way to calm down, continue to be funny but ditch the argumentative behaviour. It is NOT cute.

Fighting with your sisters is tacky and Tamar is becoming a diva on air. I don’t think I like her very much anymore, she needs to grow up and add a little professionalism to her character on the show because what she is portraying right now is UGLY. The ratings may be going up but its not because of Tamar. She is wearing too much make up on her face and is not cute no more. She has to learn that her behaviour is unacceptable to her sisters. I don’t think they are jealous, I think Tamar is just rude and acting like a brat for ratings when deep down she knows better.
