Indeed, while this remains one of Pop’s best keep secrets, today saw the surfacing of Hilson’s very own take on the track which is reported to be the demo Harris used as the blueprint for the song’s final cut.

I prefer Ciara’s version.Her tone and her simple yet smooth vocals complimented the beat much better than Keri did.Ciara knows how to deliver a great slow jam, her voice is perfect for tracks like ‘Promise’, ‘Never Ever’ and ‘I Run It’.

No Hits Allowed flopped hard and Keri can barely break the top 40 and its only album #2. Ciara had multiple top 10 hits from the Evolution and it went platinum. No Hits Allowed failed to go gold. What is the purpose in comparing a Mastered track to a Demo? Is this meant to proove anything? If anything this undermines Ciara as a Vocalist.
I’m confused why this is a competition?? Keri’s version is a demo for Ciara to emulate. She wasn’t recording it for herself. Keri’s clearly a better singer than Ciara hands down. Not that its saying much. I’m not a fan of either, but its the truth.

How did Keri help Ciara out with this track if anything Ciara helped her out with singing one of her songs… The only reason Keri hilson is a tad bit known is because of the so called hits she has written for bigger other artists….. When I kinda of look at it it’s sad she can actually write a hit for another artist but when it comes to herself she can’t seem to make one good hit 4 self. I mean really good song to amp her career. I like both versions honestly. Keri Hilson’s voice is much stronger than Ci-Ci’s, but Ciara’s voice is much smoother and it rides the track better. I’m also glad that they changed some of the lyrics in the song. I don’t understand why the song was a miss, but it def is a HIT to me.
