Did I like it? No Sam, I did not…before anyone labels me a hater I think it is only fitting to point out that the album currently has a metacritic score of 59%…meaning that most critics agree that the album is average @ best. The production however is top-notch…it is just marred by a barely there voice.

Oh, I thought this was gonna be live or something. OTTR and Natinonal Anthem are my favs on the album. I hate that promo pic. It jjust fans the flames of speculation about how her upper lip got so plump all of a sudden.

It´s one of the best on the album. The best imo are:
Blue Jeans
Off the Races
Video Games
Summertime Sadness

@KD
I think a lot of the critics have it in for her for various reasons, the SNL performance among them. I am surprised at her first week sales predictions. I really thought she would’ve crossed at least 100K in the US. I like the album because, to me, it’s that rare disc that I can listen to the album straight through. Lana needs a single to smash harder than Video Games and BTD. I’m hoping that an uptempo like OTTR or NA can really make an impact on top 40/pop radio.

Wasted production. Her voice sounds like a 6th grade girl approaching puberty.

Oh this is horrible, its even worse than Video Games and Born To Die! Del Ray has an awful voice and she is trying WAY too hard to be seen as the indie avant garde chick. Grace Jones did it first and did one hell of a lot better ;o)

Maybe its just me but this girl bores the shit out of me lovely voice but all her songs sound old dried out and boring…. sorry if you think im hating but when youve grown up on old school music and many different style she reminds you of something from like the 60′s & 70′s style in fashion and all
