Today brings with it the global release of Madonna‘s twelfth studio album, ‘MDNA’.
Given the length and breath of the Material Girl’s success, the LP’s arrival has been a three month long “event”. One which saw the 53 year old rock the Super Bowl, release singles ‘Give Me All Your Luvin” and ‘Girl Gone Wild’ (along with their accompanying videos), and announce a world tour.
Together, these have proved a potent potion for whipping up excitement amongst fans. Indeed, as at writing ‘MDNA’ sits at #1 on iTunes tally’s in a whopping 17 countries.
And, yet there remain certain pockets of press who simply aren’t swallowing her youth-soaked sing-a-long songs. Many have christened such material beneath her and not at all what she she should be serving up at this stage of her career.

Nah. I’ve never really been a fan of madonna. I think she is quite rude and up herself. I like Frozen, Like A Prayer. More of her early stuff. I like Gimme All Your Luvin, only because Nicki makes it better. Madonnas too old to be getting her crotch out all the time.
It depends, if I like what I hear. I don’t just buy music because of the artist, I do it depending on the quality. Faith Evans’ last album thought me that. Listening to it on Deezer right now.

Ok, there are a few good songs, but overall the album’s not good. But that’s my opinion. I’d give it a 2 / 10.

I’ve listened to the album in its entirety once and there are some great standout tracks, like ‘Gang Bang’, ‘I’m Addicted’ and ‘I Don’t Give A’. I could see myself purchasing the album if the prize is reasonable and if at least 4 more tracks grow on me a lot.
She will do ok in first week sales. In about 3 months, nobody will remember this album.

I’m about to buy the Hunger Games soundtrack to help it top MDNA next week. In other words, I won’t be buying Madonna’s latest piece of trash.
People always have high expectations of Madonna but the higher the expectations are, the more people set themselves up for disappointment. I think her music speaks for itself. It’s never anything really “groundbreaking” but it serves its purpose. It’s always fun, energetic, and catchy. I bought “MDNA” this morning at Target and I’m pleased with it. With a few more listens, I will be picking my favortes and and I’m typing this “Bday Song” is playing and it’s super catchy. It just so happens to be my moms birthday today so I’ll play her this later today:). I hope this album does well for the Queen of Pop.
I am not buying that trash. Next time when she sings on her track and leave the autotune behind her stale wrinkle ass. I will continue to blast the past albums though. Thisnew one is NOTHING SPECIAL. I HAVE HEARD THESE BEATS FROM KATY PERRY.
