Her latest stint at #1 on Billboard’s tour chart is just a glimpse at the singer’s overall summer tour domination, beating out fellow divas Gaga and Lopez to amass $450 million on the ‘MDNA World Tour’ to date from just 70 shows (from ticket sales alone, excluding merchandise sales).
And, already holding the title for the highest grossing tour of any solo act of all time, Madge is on pace to outdo herself for the 3rd time. Possibly landing in the #3 spot for highest grossing tours of all time for any act, it should be noted that the Material Girl has consistently played less shows than the two acts ranking above her while pulling in similar figures.

Since when is Jennifer Lopez a large touring act. I think this is her first time doing a big tour in her career and even present day she is not headlining her own tour just co-headlining. Madonna has always been a huge touring act and her shows are very impressive (just look at some of her old concert DVDs…except for the Drowned World Tour).

Actually, on a world-wide sales basis, Madonna’s latest CD is ranked fifth for 2012. That’s actually very good considering she has been in the business for 30 years. The only artist that currently has really large sales is Adele. Madonna is still a force to be reckoned with.

I tell you for Bruce they would. His fan base is crazy about him, they would do anything to see him, he sells stadiums like crazy here in Spain and has been doing it for decades. There´s something very deep between Bruce and his fan base, way more than between Madonna and hers

Madonna will be the first to tell you that she doesn’t think she is the greatest or has the greatest voice. Madonna is Madonna for her ability to keep MOST people interested. Even those that slam Madonna can not deny that secretly…when noon else is looking…they jam out to Vogue or some other catchy beat she has come up with.
