Comedian Kevin Hart may be hosting the MTV Video Music Awards, yet it appears the show’s producers are keen to open with their biggest punchline.
For, it has today been announced that Rihanna will be kicking off tomorrow night’s extravaganza.

MTV have confirmed that the Roc Nation model will open with a performance of mega-selling ‘We Found Love’ together with Calvin Harris; thereafter A$AP Rocky will join the 24 year old for a live showing of their newly released ‘Cockiness’ remix.
Sure to bring the LOL’s, the performance forms part of an already-impressive line-up that includes Pink, Nicki Minaj, Frank Ocean, One Direction, and Alicia Keys.
The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards airs tomorrow live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Last week Rita Ora was going head to head with Elbow, Of monster and men and Emelie Sande’s double platinum album. She only just edge out Edge out Emelie because Roc bought up the LP; Rita Ora LP was selling on amazon for £ 4.99 AND she still could not go on with 100k.
