‘Talk That Talk’ may have only just reached Platinum status in the US, but it seems Pop Princess Rihanna is already gearing up to release its follow up…this year.
Yes, in what is sure to spell trouble for many of her contemporaries, Ms. Fenty is reportedly planning to release her album during the holidays.

After announcing the launch of her ‘Diamonds’ world tour last week, Rihanna posted the following message on the 7th- teasing the album’s reported first single.
However, the above amounted to nothing when compared to the image below. An image, which announces the cut will enjoy a September 17th release, and will be followed by a new LP this November.
Boasting contributions from ‘Enough Of No Love’ writer Elijah Blake, Claude Kelly and Eric Bellinger, it seems Camp Riri are hoping to benefit from the holiday sales on a commercial tip. Hoping, to secure her the US #1 album her career is missing.
However, with heavy hitters like Alicia Keys and Nicki Minaj- both of whom have always fared better than Rihanna in their respective first weeks- releasing material in the same period, this November will mark a very expensive but interesting time for music consumers.

I’m actually really excited!
In any other case, I would have said that releasing 4 albums in 3 years (‘RR’ was released in 2009) is over the top, but I think in Rihanna’s case, the ‘TTT’ era really helped her. She wasn’t overexposed, she raised her profile in Europe with ‘WFL’ and ‘WHYB’ and now she’s ready to come back and slay.
I hope both she and Christina have successful eras. At least we know that the fourth quarter of 2012 won’t be boring!

I think Rihanna will have to learn a lesson this time when she gets the response from this single. I have a hunch she not we in for a big surprise. She should take a few pages outta the success book of her bff in the music biz Katy Perry for marketing, promoting and song selections for the longevity of an album and not just going about it halfheartedly expecting her fans to run with it for her while promoting modelling, stripping and talking smack and trash. As successful as Rihanna is she could’ve been so much more successful. Every time I hear Rihanna fans call for her to hit all the major tv shows for promo and she don’t even do that! She hit the radio stations well which is important but she always could do much more. And then she does it for the album release and then slack off. She missed the mark with ManDown, CKB, others and as good as WHYB did it could’ve done far better.

I’m torn. On one hand, I’m excited for a 7th album so soon because I’m already sick of TTT–LOVED it when I first got it, but now I skip past it on my iPod–and want to hear new music. On the other hand, I feel she should take a MUCH NEEDED break and hold off from recording and touring for at least a year, preferably two years. Take her time crafting songs for her next album, and coming up with a new image. Build anticipation so that when she comes back, she comes back with a BANG! because folks were anxiously awaiting her return to her music scene.

Now she is back and is ready to get back to work with the new era so you all have to just wait and see how she’ll slay.

now unlike other people she is not being sued or called a liar for writing credit she has on her songs, they are not disputed by anyone, and the cowriters of some of the songs even talked about writing with rihanna. so they must be lying too. also the credits for writing on her album have her name in them too.
is it false, not even possible. how do i know. because if she wanted her name to just be on the writing credits like some people then her name would be on all of her songs and not just the ones she did cowrite. see loud where she wrote no songs, and rated r where she was on over half of the songs. so do your research and dont rely on what you see on blogs.

I love RiRi don’t get it wrong even tho my name says i love Beyoncé which is also true . I think she need a break , or we do anyway .
