A debut, which saw her become the first act in Roc Nation to enjoy three consecutive #1 singles pulled from her first album, trumping efforts made by part time vocalist Rihanna and her debut album ‘Music Of The Sun‘- which failed to hit the 500,000 units sold mark since its 2005 launch.

At first I thought it was Rihanna until I read the words “re-launch latest LP”. I still see a Rihanna clone whenever I look at her. Maybe she rocked that particular style first but she still needs to drastically change it and stop singing songs that sound like they were rejected by Rih and Katy Perry if she wants a chance at making it in the US. She has a nice voice, but she desperately needs a sound and identity where if you see a pic of her or hear her on the radio, you KNOW it’s Rita and don’t think it’s someone else.

How much did those 3 consecutive #1 singles sell though? Where is her gold/platinum album? Rihanna was able to release her album in the US with little promo and demos. What about Ora? Pon De Replay had more certifications and sold millions, more than Rita’s 3 #1 singles combined and didn’t need to be # 1 on the UK chart. Rihanna was able to perform her smash hit Pon De Replay at 2005 MTV VMA. What about Ora?
