In what will come as mind blowing news to all close to her, her new album ‘Goldenheart’ has debuted at #8 on iTunes UK’s R&B chart.
Now, while there’s been some effort in the past to downplay this chart’s worth, her arrival on the tally comes as an impressive feat considering her lack of physical promo in the nation and the chart’s highly competitive nature of late.
This, following releases by Rihanna, Miguel and Alicia Keys and the recent ascent of Destiny’s Child ‘#1′s’, all of which have continued to outsell more recent entries day on day.
Helped in part by a ‘Goldenheart’ banner placed on the digital outlet, the album’s promising UK run comes after it came in at #24 on iTunes USA, and follows the demise of ‘Diddy -Dirty Money’, in which she performed in alongside ‘Bad Boy’ boss Diddy.

So happy for her! I’ve always had this thing for Dawn & Aubrey! I’ve followed them since Making The Band when they were killing competition, repeatedly sending challengers home to make the Danity Kane group. I’ve never seen anything like that before and that’s why I respect them both (even with Aubrey doing Playboy). Dawn’s hustle says a lot about her and I’m inspired. I wish her continued success!

I bought Dawn Richard’s album and this is quality music from start to finish.
Progressive R&B! We no longer have to re-live the 90s. We can look forward and be proud that RnB is taking shape in a new and unique way.

I love dawn The fact that she is coming so hard is really breaking me outta f the whole shes meant for groups mentality I dont really like goldenheart in its entirety because the whole album is not as cutting edge as pretty wicked things or the break down in gleaux(she needs to make a comestics line and trademark that lol) I wish she pressed that envelop nuffin I love R &B and I love Dupstep pop electronica and I cant wait for what blackheart has….my point she did her job because I want more I need more the first album I ever bought was emeniems the show and goldenheart is the second …..blackheart and redemptionheart will be 3rd and 4th
