Indeed, it is an industry-wide known fact that Mama Osbourne does not play when it comes to the members of her outspoken family.
For, as previously reported, daughter Kelly Osbourne recently unveiled news of attacks from the ever-faithful fanbase of pop superstar Lady Gaga. Gaga, in turn, penned an open letter to Kelly and offered an “apology” of sorts and a few other kind words.
Well, those words seem to have not been taken so kindly as today saw ‘The Talk” hostess pen her own letter to Gaga criticizing the singer for her use of animal fur as well as fanbase’s attacks on Adele, Rihanna, Madonna, and, of course, her daughter Kelly. Needless to say, the censors were not on hand for this one:
Ms. Gaga,
I am responding to your open letter to my daughter Kelly, and I am perplexed as to why you would go public with an open letter. Regarding this current situation; Kelly didn’t contact you, I was the one that contacted your manager today and the email is attached below for your reference. I reached out to him as Kelly’s manager and mother to ask him if you could address your “little monster” fans and stop them from writing libelous, slanderous and vile comments about my family, including death threats to Kelly.
Your open letter is hypocritical and full of contradictions. And as your mother Cynthia supports you, I support my daughter Kelly. I must say your opinions on what is politically correct and acceptable totally differ from mine, but that is what makes the world so interesting…we are all different. How sweet that you have empathy for my daughter, as you feel that she has taken a less passionate path in life. You say her work on E! with the Fashion Police is “rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people’s beauty against one another.” Welcome to the real world. Example, when I saw you wear a dress made out of raw meat, I was sickened. When I see you wearing fur, and using it as a fashion statement, the fact that defenseless animals have been killed so you can get your picture in the press is abhorrent to me. Shouldn’t you be teaching your “little monster” fans to respect animals and life?
I don’t feel I have to justify Kelly’s choices in life to you. By your actions to Kelly right now, you have shown me that you are nothing more than a publicly seeking hypocrite and an attention seeker. You know it would have been much more dignified of you to do this privately. I am calling you a bully because you have 32 million followers hanging on your every word and you are criticizing Kelly in your open letter. Are you so desperate that you needed to make this public?
You state “Everyday, through my music and public voice I choose to be positive and work towards a kinder and braver world with our community of followers.” Well this obviously is not translating well to your fans, as a large portion of them have not only been vile to Kelly, but also other celebrities such as Madonna, Adele and Rihanna. “You say a kinder, braver world” I don’t know what world you live in, but supporting disgraceful fan comments doesn’t fall under the words “kinder and braver.” It comes under the heading of bullshit.
In closing, stop wearing fur, stop looking for publicity, and stop using your fans to belittle not just Kelly but an endless stream of celebrities. A word from you would stop all the hideous, negative and vile threats from your “little monsters.” Let me know if you want to continue this debate. I’m an open playing field for you my darling.

Nothing but the true, This really shows me and confirms what gaga’s really like. I was trying to give her the benefit but going after Kelly and Sharon makes no sense. This is too funny to me. In all of her pretentious glory, Gaga got on her high horse and really thought she was going to put someone in their place with that haughty and sanctimonious ‘open letter’ of hers, but didn’t count on Sharon getting involved and taking it up about five notches. In the end, Gaga wound up the one getting shut up and looking like a fool with egg on her face. Ha. I wonder when Gaga will again get up on stage and cry about how the world is against her.

Like, seriously?! What does Kelly being more or less famous/important/richer than Gaga have to do with her publicly responding to her for publicity? As if celebrities have to evenly matched in order for the bigger to reap the attention of publicly interacting with another. And to act like Gaga isn’t thirsty for attention is a bold face lie, considering her reputation for making a spectacle of herself.
Gaga knew posting that self-righteous, passive-aggressive thesis towards Kelly would get people talking about her, and it did. She and Vincent most likely plotted it ahead of time. Funny it turned out Sharon had initiated this situation by contacting Gaga’s Manager! Again, amazing mother instinct, going directly to the source and ask for resolution.
Good for Gaga pointing out the hypocrisy in Kelly being upset over harsh worlds when her show thrives off those. But agreed, why did Gaga do this publicly??
It is sad tho for Gaga, because there is a very real and horrible niche of her fan’s are really mean and negative people. This has no reflection on Gaga as she’s said it till she’s blue in the face, she supports love and acceptance of all. I believe her to be truly 120% sincere !!
Many ‘little monster’s’ have taken this to mean “it’s a revolt of the under-dogs” and these underdogs now feel empowered to BECOME the bullies. It’s sad they are so limited in their thought & view that they don’t truly understand Gaga’s message. I like Gaga, but would I never identify as little monster because these people have become renown with the opposite of what Gaga fights for and advocates, Meanness.
I’m also not talking about the cowards that hide behind their key boards on blogs and sites, i’m talking about in real life i’ve had so many experiences just in day to day life where these people are horrible to others, in stores, restaurants, at the bar – It’s weird, they feel they have a license to be so negative because they see themselves as “Different/unique”.
Those of you who are positive little Monsters, please help your mother monster clean house of all these oppressed and abused Monsters who have become the Oppressive and Abusive nasty little monsters they are.

I totally agree with you; the thing is is that i honestly believe Gaga believe she IS sending the proper message in the proper way (this anti-bullying stance); but she’s being to Pigheaded not to realize it’s not exactly hitting the mark. In fact it’s so off the mark, it’s worsening the situation.

I agree! You just completely summarized everything perfectly. I feel as though whenever anyone is on top like Gaga is and has so much fame people (stans, fans, whatever) tend to feel some sort of privileged entitlement so they think they can just attack people and send death threats because they don’t agree with their fave. Part of this has to do with the whole “stan” business which is creepy to begin with because you are essentially a person who stocks an artist and you become their “obsessed/stocking fan”. I feel so many of the people that claim to be the “little monsters” etc are just people ridding the fame because their personal attacks on other people are harsh, but it literally goes for EVERY stan base even those as insignificant as the Ciara stans.
The perfect summary to all this is something you said which is when an underdog who’s been bullied and is put in the charge of power, they tend to be the “aggressors” and attackers instead of the usual victims because they have power in their hands, this is especially true to people that are cyber bullies because they hide behind the computer to attack others whom they’ll never see in real life.

She needs to reevaluate her approach to her message.

You can’t say every Little Monsters are bad people. Gaga should not be responsible for what we Little Monsters do. She has never sent a bad message or anything like what a lot of Gaga haters think. It’s like the bible. The bible is intended to make people become better persons, but people translate or interpret it differently, but I 120 % can approve that Gaga has never done anything to make some little monsters evil or bad.
I mean, people learn to bully from their friends, or they learn to curse from school, not their parents. It’s just like that in this case. Monster’s have this reputation in public. They have mentioned how bullies are Gaga fans on talk shows and 5′oclock news’ when they do a bullying episode/coverage. People’s parents are aware of this reputation of this group of little monsters. The evident ‘style’ they wear; something like this: maybe a leather vest, studs, tight dark blue jeans, dramatic shoes of all extents, a gaga Tshirt, or key chair hanging from their beg; very noticeable ear enament etc. etc. These are in the public, almost (but not to the extent of) goths, or alternative of the early 90′s.
… hard pressed to point out a Beyonce, Mariah, Katy Perry, Rihanna, or even taylor swift fan in public. Monster’s (the negative one’s make it know who they are).

The problem I have is that people tend to generalize with fanbases. I am a part of the Little Monster community and not once have I ever “bullied” Adele, Rihanna, and/or Kelly Osbourne. And I know I’m not the only one. The reason Gaga went public with the letter besides the fact that it is an OPEN letter, is because she wanted the fans/little monsters to know that she had our back. How else would we have known that she stuck up for us? By singling out Gaga’s fans, that not only disrespects us but Gaga too.

GO SHARON! Lady Gaga is a disgusting insult to REAL artists. I used to like her once upon a time, but now I see her as a fur-wearing plagiarist. Her sheeple “fans” should be ashamed of themselves for supporting such a quack.

You know what I’m bored so I’m going break this whole thing down. Gaga may have been in the wrong but so is Sharon. Not only is she hypocritical but her whole statement is also very contradicting. Now here are her problems:
1) “I am perplexed as to why you would go public with an open letter”?
She basically answered her own questioning statement with another statement of hers: “I reached out to him as Kelly’s manager and mother to ask him if you could address your “little monster” fans and stop them from writing libelous, slanderous and vile comments about my family, including death threats to Kelly”. The reason Gaga made it a public open letter was to address not only Kelly but her own fan base as well which was the whole point.
2)”And as your mother Cynthia supports you, I support my daughter Kelly”. That’s already revealing the extent to how much she would take her own daughters’ side whether what Kelly did or said was appropriate or not.
3)”You say her work on E! with the Fashion Police is “rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people’s beauty against one another.” Welcome to the real world.” Example, when I saw you wear a dress made out of raw meat, I was sickened. When I see you wearing fur, and using it as a fashion statement, the fact that defenseless animals have been killed so you can get your picture in the press is abhorrent to me. Shouldn’t you be teaching your “little monster” fans to respect animals and life?
This whole part was just completely illogical and pointless. How is she going to compare human’s feelings with animals? Hurting humans’ feelings is not in any way the same thing as killing animals for the use of clothing.
4) “I don’t feel I have to justify Kelly’s choices in life to you. By your actions to Kelly right now, you have shown me that you are nothing more than a publicly seeking hypocrite and an attention seeker”? She just said earlier that she wanted Gaga to address her fans about their behavior therefore by making this a public letter, it will address the public which includes her fans. I mean how stupid can this woman be? Also she and her daughter are the last people to talk about attention seeking.
5) “You know it would have been much more dignified of you to do this privately. Then how would she have addressed her fans like you wanted?
“I am calling you a bully because you have 32 million followers hanging on your every word and you are criticizing Kelly in your open letter. Apparently she doesn’t understand the definition of a bully.
“Are you so desperate that you needed to make this public”? “? Again how is she going to address her fans like you asked if it’s private?……………………..
…..I’m not even going to go over the rest of it because it’s just too ridiculously hypocritical to be taken seriously. It’s like she should have had someone review over what she wrote because it’s just plain stupid.
