Undeterred by the drama that saw their initial comeback show postponed, the divas of Danity Kane are charging ahead on their own.
Many will recall, ample hype preceded their sell-out 92.3 Now Scream show in New York show last month. However, when co-headliner Chris Brown was jailed for assault one day before the event, things went awry.
Fans of the foursome needn’t fret, though. Why? Because Aubrey, Dawn, Aundrea, and Shannon have announced that they’ll be making their official comeback in Los Angeles next month — and as the sole headliners too.

The ‘Show Stopper’ stunners will host their first concert as a group in over five years at the House Of Blues on LA’s iconic Sunset Strip on December 16th.

Teased by multiple DK members prior to the reunion announcement, the time since has seen the ladies take to Instagram to make no secret (at all) of the fact they’re filming with reality TV giants 51 Minds.
What has been shrouded in secrecy, though, is official details on the project. However, it appears a stylist working with the Pop quad made a Freudian slip when posting the shot below. See what we mean…

If true, that would be an incredibly great look for the ladies – as would any other similar-sized and themed network. For, in an era where there’s much more to the music industry than ‘music’, reality TV has proven itself an amazing platform for the acts that use it in the right way. What’s more, given that the masses got to know DK on Making The Band, a like-minded show is clearly the best way to go!
Needless to say, we’re ecstatic to have Danity Kane back!
I think the reality show is a very smart idea to garner the public attention again. That’s what people like to see, the creative process and development of a project then when the album drops towards the end of the season, more will be interested in buying it cause they’re a fan of the show. Look at Tamar, would anyone buy an album by Toni’s sister without seeing her constantly rolling her eyes and neck on tv?? No way. Do whatcha gotta do to get the exposure. Plus All About Aubrey wasn’t a bad reality show either..

I guess they are waiting to release the single until the reality show gets closer which makes sense, but why announce their reunion so long ago…I am ready for their return but they have to bring it…hard.

YASSSS!!!! ‘Welcome To The Dollhouse’ was pure SLAYAGE and easily fits in with music today, FIVE years later. I know they’re going to come back serving up ‘WTTD’ realness and giving us life every step of the way. DK was never really over. They’re amazing together and now they’ve come back to show the world. They’re about to give us unfinished business.
