I just forgt to mention “Baby I” by Ariana Grande. I could substitute on the place of “Over the Love”. But 5 songs are really hard to choose, despite this last year not being sooo great when it comes to R&B music in my opinion. Despite the incredible Beyoncé’s comeback , I think Ariana Grande was the only very good thing released. I won’t mention Rihanna and Miley, ’cause musicaly speaking they just call atention with their image and not really with their work. Robin Thick was amazing but “too Justin Timberlake”, I missed “an own style”. Justin was too ambitious but the second part of 20/20 Experince was released very fast ans he could have explored more the 1st part. I though Mariah’s comeback would be big, but she not even really cameback and honestly, I don’t think she’s bringgin’ nothing different, only the same productions with Jermaine Dupri that sounds like the same thing she always makes. I wish people could have recognized Ciara and Kelly Rowland work better, ’cause they made very good albuns. Ashanti was someone I was expecting but just like Mariah stayed on my dreams. Frank Ocean was spmething that I loved and i’m expecting something huge from him, speacially because this alternative style is getting attention and people are enjoyng, so I hope Solange realese something great too. Pop artists didn’t give us nothing new, from Kesha, Britney to Katy and Gaga, all sh*t! Drake, Jay Z, Macklemore were my proud. RAP music was amazing thanx to them, ’cause Kanye is my greatest deception acting like a as*hole trying to call people attention with his personal life and stupi declarations, I feel ashamed for him. Keysha Cole is also a LOL for me; a huge flop but talking about my beautiful Michelle. J.Lo, I love you, but I’m tired of the same feat. with Pitbull and RedOne, let1s change baby, let’s change a little… 2014 is going to be amazing just because Beyoncé is back. We missed you. Rihanna will desperatly try to be remembered, she’s going to be remembered, but again with her image, but musicaly she will never be respected, accept this people. Adele, please come back and make our new year better with Beyoncé ok. Just as I hope an amazing comeback of Frank Ocean, Mariah (yeah, I’m still hopeful), Mary J. Blige, Usher and others. I just expect flawlless surprises, nothing else.

Oops I just listed my top 5 hottest songs that I’m listening to right now. I didn’t read the post thoroughly to see that we’re suppose to name our top 5 songs of the year!

#5 Ciara – Body Party – That song was just tight. Loved it from day one! Btw, I still love Cici no matter what!

#4 Nicki – Highschool – I’m sorry, but this track is so underrated!

#3 Pink – Just Give Me A Reason – This lady was putting me to sleep with a lot of her music lately, but this track was perfection!

#2 Drake – Worst Behavior (still in my top 2). I hated music this year, but Drake came along with this and saved the day!

#1 Beyonce – Drunk In Love … Just leave it to Bey to make you fall in love with music again! Enuff said …

    Honorable Mentions
    Ariana – Baby I
    Chris Brown – Fine China
    Jlo – Live It Up
Fitz and Tantrums – Out of my league
and … Lady Gaga – Applause (tbh the song has a lot of potential).

    LOL.
I never said she won’t be remembered.
She’ll be, I’m sure about that, but she won’t be e legend!
She’s trying hand to be noticed, and she’s getting it, but thanks only for her staff. She ain’t got no talent, you have to addmit this.
Why don’t you guys can’t accept when one “artist” is bad.
For example, I love J.Lo, from the bootom of my heart! But I’m tottaly concious she’s not a good singer. But I still love her for her energy, her way tho make performances (beyond J.Lo, Beyoncé, Justin and Madonna I can’t see great stage performers). And Jennifer has something that nobody knows that makes she be so fantastic.
Rihanna tries too much! But I don’t see nothing special in her, and nobody else either. That’s why she call more attention with her image than with her work. Addimit this for yourself. And I was just expressing my opinions on my comment, I didn’t ask your sugar!

LMAO!! Why does Rihanna keep getting shaded when there are worse “artists” like Britney?? Rihanna is definitely a better artist than she is.
