Cole clocks in at #2 with his surprise mixtape.

The buzzy project – which was home to the since-deleted ‘7 Minute Drill’ diss aimed at Kendrick Lamar – premiered with 115,000. Of the total sum, streaming led the charge with 105,000 units (equaling 137.95 million on-demand streams of the set’s 12 songs).

Serving as the MC’s fourth mixtape, it’s notably his only release in that format to chart on the Billboard 200. Conversely, with the rest of his placements on the tally being official studio albums, it comparably delivers his lowest first week sales on the chart.

    Big drop

    • Anne April 14, 2024

True, but it’s still enough to top the chart again, which is something that some people were doubting would happen based on Cole’s projections and early top ten projections. I think the following week will be pretty steady since physical albums and cds are now released to the market.

I wish Beyoncé would do SNL.. I am not expecting her to do a lot of promo anymore but at least a late night show performance. I’m sure she can work something out with SNL that she can do a surprise night
