DK is back in ways that should make their contemporaries instantly want to go back to the studio and regroup. Pardon the pun, but “Lemonade” offers a refreshing traipse on the thin Urban/pop fusion line that brought the former quintet to fame.
Slick lyrics, bumping beat, and a wave of harmonies to accent, “Lemonade” is undoubtedly on track to make a splash on the charts…just in time for summer. If there was any question about R&B’s resurgence, the ladies of DK just silenced it.

This is knocking! I love me some DK. Glad to see they are picking the pace back up. Im ready to hear this album sooner than later. One thing is for sure, Aundrea is completely ABSENT from this track. Okay so I see what they did lets be CLEAR given this generations radio format this song will probably do well i n radio format n top 40 but that’s because of its catcgy hook and synthetic trap throwback trap/pop beat.

Some of you people must be easily pleased, this song is just alright.It will not be a commercial success, it probably do well in the clubs. Out of the 3 new songs I have heard Lemonade, Bye Baby & All In A Days Work. I prefer All In A Days Work. It is sort of underwhelming if this is what they have been leading up to. This will not make top 50 in Hot 100 charts, probably top 10 in the R & B charts

I have listened to it 5 or 6 times now to give it a chance, I still think the same thing it is just alright. I went & listen to All In A Days Work a few times as well. I definitely prefer that. And I have to say I cannot believe that Danity Kane’s best vocalist is not used, you put your weakest vocalist Aubrey O’Day upfront before Aundrea what is that all about, just using your best vocalist as a backing vocalist. The only conclusion I can come up with is that Aundrea did not attend the studio on a regular basis & they done it without her. She looks the least interested out of the 4.

Not everyone is a hardcore fan who accepts whatever they have been given. You love Lemonade and that is your opinion. This will not boost their career. I just hope they have better tracks on their album. If this is the best they got, Danity Kane will not be around next year

I’m as much of a Danity Kane fan as the next guy, but this is not it. I understand wanting to do something upbeat and Urban as a comeback but I’m they must have had better songs than this. And I hope this album doesn’t become “The Dawn Richard Writing Project” because we have heard her style and need a plethora of sounds not just Dawns chromatic writing style.

The “Grindin” sample is very in your face! Without that sample added, the song would be pretty basic… No Shade…… But I think it will perform good as their first single on the charts.
