Not really. Usher slayed with Confessions (2004) & 8701(in 2001). That album sold almost 10 million copies and produced 2 #1’s (U Remind Me & U Got It Bad). Usher had 8 #1’s before the decade was over (between 2001 – 2009) and he sold most of his 65 million records during that period.
